Okay, you score major points for comparing the capitate to Darth Vader. I'll never see it the same again.

in Poland we have short poem about this bones:
Boat is sailing, moon is shining, triangular peas are falling,
On trapeze, little trapeze, hangs a head on a hook
Ofc it doesn't rhyme and sound very well in english XD but maybe it'll help somebody to remember them!
Very nice

Thank you Doctor :)
Dr Morton is by far the best anatomy instructor I've ever known! I practiced dentistry for 34 years and continue to study anatomy in my retirement. Why did Dr. Morton choose anatomy as a profession?
Hi Dr. Carter, thanks for your kind words! They made my day :)
So why did you choose anatomy? P.S. I would like to take all your classes in gross, head & neck and neuro-anatomy. You have a gift to simplify functional anatomy.
Fantastic! Lucky to get such high-class education here on youtube, and even better to get your presence, thoughtful teaching, and curricular involvement at our school. Always grateful and impressed for your efforts to make learning enjoyable and effective!
Hey Thanks Dan! Always great to hear from you.
I am software engineer and watching this video due to my Metacarpals number 3 & 4 head is in pain but not MCP joint due to I hit it on something. It hurts only after I squeeze the head . Loved your video as, for some from outside medical field it is brilliantly explained .
Keep uploading!
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!
"I went to a religious university tho..." really got me 😂😂😂😂. 2:18

You make learning so much fun. Love your tongue twister moments hahahah. God Bless you!
I have tried so hard memorizing these but to no avail. Your vedio has helped me alot..God bless you
Nice
Please make more videos these are awesome that way you compare the real hand w pictures
Thanks for the wonderful video. Could you tell us how to identify if an X-ray of hand is from an AP view or a PA view? Is that any trick to identify this? For example, with PA vew we cannot see hamulus (just my guess)?
How can we see the pisiform bone in PA view?
Can the radiotions from the exray harms the hands in anyway?
Many thanks from Russia!
You are welcome! Greetings from Utah!
5 semester without you can't spend.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
At least I tell 70 student in my university all say love and great 👍👍
Hello, so what would be the differences that you would see in a fan lateral and a lateral hand? I noticed that you show a fan lateral but do not talk about that view.
Fan lateral view of the hand shows any injuries to the distal phalanges

Teacher Teaches Cunning-Ham (distal row)
Students Like To Play (proximal row) We were taught this mnemonic😊
My anatomy teacher in massage therapy school taught us to remember the carpals by “Some Lovers Try Positions That They Can’t Handle.” Stuck with me!😂😳
I use pneumonic " she looks too pretty ,try to catch her" for carpal bones😅
any art students watching this 😂🤔? these videos are super helpful for art students since i have a hard time putting bones into my drawings
So Long To Pinky, Here Comes The Thumb. It's more of a circular order, but it give locations; pinky medially, thumb laterally.
Can you see through the bones
Yes
“So Long To Pinky 👋 Here Comes The Thumb”
Scaphoid, Lunate, Triquetrum, pisiform, hamate, capitate, Triquetrum
That is a great one!
The more 'colourful' acronym for carpal bones if you want to know is:
Some Lovers Try Positions That They Can't Handle
haha guess I'm a pagan 😂 Thank you for this video though!
Why can’t be carpal bones have simple names.. like boat, moon, pea, table, head , hook
Haha
Please use a pop filter for your mic.
Sir see my hands is Rolex watch London
That Haitham someone from the gentry
Boney sticky outy
So Long To Pinky, Here Comes The Thumb..... Go clockwise from scaphoideum
