    I love this kind of dreamy realism, and I would like to see, how you sketch this bird, too. May I ask you which colors (brand, colors) you usually have on your palette? Thank you for sharing this.

      Hello Regina,
      thank you very much and I currently use Van Gogh watercolours, but Schmincke and Winsor & Newton are also very good. My colour palette for birds is usually: Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Cadmium and Indian Yellow, Paynes Gray and Paynes Gray Blue, Yellow Ochre and Ivory Black. New colours are Lavender, Golden Brown and Dusk Pink.
