So glad to see someone somewhat local knocking Detailing outta the park. I am in south central Va.I am a huge fan of Pan, and saw you all featured on one of his videos. I just started my mobile detailing business a year ago. Detailing has been a passion of mine since I was a teenager, growing, learning and progressing. You two achieved excellent results and wow was the paint swirled for a newer car. A lot of us have been struggling with these newer paints. Fab polish is awesome stuff. A lot of us are using Lvr 403 for some of these soft paints and coating right over it. I had to order 496 too for some of these soft paints. I tried using one polish and it just does not meet all the different paint types out there.
I like how you applied the spray ceramic coating as I have done a few cars this way too. Hopefully you begin to receive maintenance wash updates on the coating to let us know what you’re seeing. Thank you for another very informative video.

Good detail, guys! Sweet! Color is very cool. Looks fantastic, corrected, and protected. Nope. No situations with "sticky" paint. My guess is just thin, soft clearcoat. Oh, well. What's new.

Great stuff, Phil! I agree that current-gen clear coats are rather finicky. Personally, I keep coming back to either DIY's Gold Standard waffle pad or one of ShineMate's diamond pads (depending on required level of cut), paired with OP Compound, NV Finesse, Gold Standard, or Vonixx for an AIO. To your point though, sometimes there's just not much choice but to follow up with a few low-speed rotary passes to refine the finish to something acceptable.

dude what a great video, i did that exact same process with adams advanced graphene ceramic spray coating for my first go around before applying true ceramic coating. that particular spray coating applies and acts just like a true ceramic coating (rainbows when it flashes), excellent process for anyone to try and get a feel for it. you da man ✌🏽🐿️💨

Hi. So unfortunately I haven’t seen this vehicle since we detailed it so I can’t say much on that protecting durability.
Hit applications super easy and it doesn’t have an overpowering smell either.
Sharp and elegant is how i would describe that color

Looks fantastic, how long does a paint enhancement + ceramic coating jobs take on average? How long would it take by yourself? New detailing business owner here. Thank you for the great content. I've learned a ton from you guys.
Hi. Usually with the two of us it can take anywhere between 2-4 hours. For one person maybe 4-6.

Phil, the Pureest P2 is a 9-12 month product dependant on conditions and maintenance etc.
But you can top it with their P1 spray on rinse off product. That’s meant to be a 2-3 week product but I’ve smashed it with a alk wash and acidic wash and it made it to 5 weeks.
Do you have the P7 window ceramic yet? I want to see that. New formula. The coating is built into the applicator. You snap it and shake it so the chemicals combine.
They have suggested to me 9-12 months for it which would be amazing.

It keeps me from being too picky sometimes. I watch other channels that are very high end and spend 40 to 70 hours on a detail and then thats the perfection I feel like I should expect but thats not the reality.
Only a small percent of detailers get that work but your channel really helps detailers how to run a business, do a great job, make customers happy while making a profit.

Hi. Thanks. Nope it don’t throw them away. I always soak them and wash them. If they are still soft after I wash them I will reuse them for other things and even on paint again, but not for ceramic coatings. I always use new towels for coating jobs.

I’m having customers asking for a longer lasting protection, like a year, wondering what you’ve found? Looking for quick and easy. Right now i’m stacking a carnauba drying spray with a mixture of P&S gloss trio. It looks amazing, but isn’t a year’s worth of protection. 🙏 Thanks
For a years worth I would use Gyeon Can Coat EVO. It’s an easy application and its boasts a year.

Hey Phil - lookin good, dude! Pretty Camry - nice detail! Nice music too 😎👍 Do you still use the E-GO blower these days, or are you now only using the BLO AIR-S? Also, this video looks like it might have been filmed over fall or winter - any idea how that Pure:Est P2 is holding up for your customer? I have Crystal Serum Light on my car now (applied almost 2 years ago so I'm "due"). Thinking about DIYing with something and Pure:Est P2 looks like a great option.
Thanks! Yes I still use the Ego blower mostly for coated cars. The smaller BLO is just easier to handle and is corded. The who eats up its battery fast.

Try Vonix Sinergy, for me it works pretty much the same as this, maybe even better tbh

Hi Phil! Another cool video. Thanks for posting! As always, I learn when I watch your vids/detailing methods. I'm not a pro detailer, just a lady who likes to keep her ride clean, shiny, and pristine.😉 Despite being an avid fan of the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions products, I'm considering getting the Purest O2 Ceramic Protection as I LOVED how that Camry turned out!! Incredible shade of blue!!
Questions...what is the name of the compound that you use on cars that doesn't require using an IPA? I saw it in 1 of your other vids, but can't find the vid and don't remember the name of the compound. Dr. Something, I think... Also, could the Turtle Wax Graphene Pure Shine be used as a topper for the Purest Ceramic Protection, or would you recommend a different product?
Hi. It’s the Dr Beasley’s NSP primer polishers. I only them for ceramic coating jobs. They don’t work that well for other sealants or spray coatings unfortunately. It’s formulated to use with true ceramic coatings.

Hey Phil, thanks for your amazing content. I saw your video with @PanTheOrganizer on inexpensive vs. pro detailing products and I noticed in that video that you're able to attach your spare nozzle to your pressure washer gun's handle while using the foam cannon. Is that a specific gun or a mod? Can you provide more details? Would you recommend it for daily use? Thanks!

Hi. No you don’t have to trash the towels. You can wash them. This is not a true coating so it won’t ruin the towels.

Yeah they are the same softness and flexibility. Just different colors.

Is Crystal serum light spray easier to apply then Avalonking armor shield max. This will be max first time applying a ceramic coat.
Hi. Crystal serum light isn’t a spray. It’s a true ceramic coating. But it is very easy to apply once you learn how to apply coatings. Avalon king coating is also very easy.

Do you use clay towel? Old school clay bar I see you still use
We use both. Clay towels for the top surfaces and clay for the bottom surfaces since they are usually the worst and need more aggressive claying.
What polisher are you using?

Found here also in Bali-indonesia, and it is for long time like this (specially japan car). The paint is so soft and become kinda stiky-easy to have swirl, and like too soft and stiky to fix it isnt? May be it more cheap for the car manufactured to have paint like this??? @mirandadetailing
