My plan was to spend half of Ramadan in Karachi and then travel to Islamabad for rest of Ramadan but due to the pandemic I couldn't do I've taken up extra shifts at work everyone pray we get through these testing times inshallah

i lived in the states almost 30 years and sad to say i never got invited (not even once) to anybody house like they do in pakistan... much love.. stay safe and bless..
I have been living in the UK for 20 years , never got invited by a native British but yes I have invited a lot of British white and Pakistani/ Indian people for dinner or aftaar. White people here normally don’t cook at home when they invite someone for dinner, they take away or go out. But we Pakistani community are skilled cook and hosts . And they appreciate it a lot.
Visited Pakistan on july 2019, their hospitality is amazing..surely will visit there again

Intermittent fasting is becoming very popular in the West. Spirituality, self-control, charity apart, fasting also acts a detox. I see Ramadan as an annual reboot, reset or maintenance, if you will, where it breaks the cycle of the daily grind. Almost every religion has fasting in some form.

I’m so missing Pakistan. I’m a Pakistani Brit and I haven’t been back for a decade due to work commitments etc. It’s insane how many non-Asians are now visiting Pakistan, I feel so proud to see this. Thank you for showing Pakistan in its true form and not fitting it into the stereotype were taught in the West. As a woman I would easily go travelling on my own in Pakistan, I feel on a grand scale of things it’s a safe country to visit, despite what the rumours say

Let me school you here, I said I have work commitments. It’s the internet I’m not going to spew my financial and personal affairs to give a solid reason, but I haven’t left the country I reside in for decades because of personal reasons. So it’s not him waking me up, I simply cannot leave. Or else of course I would have. Maybe think about people’s circumstances before making a judgemental comment.
