EASILY the best mix out there. Heard it when it came out when I was in my teens and it still holds up to anything out there. I would throw this on about an hour before the crew would get to my place. Then I would head out to a rave or after hours. This shit would put me in the right headspace. I'm in my mid 40s and still play it. My kids have heard this sooo many times. ;-)

@@carterhya5429 Well, I don't doubt that for a minute. We can't all be from Detroit tho. I guess I should rephrase that to one of the best live recordings ever. This recording is great because it really gave us all a glimpse of Hawtin's live style for those of us not lucky enough to be there live. That was rare back then. Richie has a lot of live recordings now, but this one is still one of the best in the wild and well known. I'm not discounting your experience, its just if it wasn't recorded it's kind of tough to reproduce, and judge for quality, let alone whether it will reach greatness. Afterall, I'm sure those sets you refer to are better, but we're not talking about them right now in 2020.Where are those youtube videos? People are still talking about, and listening to this. Your experience were not archived...unfortunately.
