    How come you got the grab lorry to remove the soil on the drive before you dug out the rest? Those big grabs can easily take double what it showed at the start. I had one that took 9 tons of chalk and it still had loads of capacity.

    Blimey, 3 jobs on the go at the same time.
    I like the fact that this one has some space round the back to hide unsightly stuff from the garden.
    Just wondering what's the average cost of running electricity and internet to these garden offices?

    Hey Darren, really looking forward to watching this project. Would you mind mentioning the dimensions as you go? Depth and width of the foundations; thicknesses of the hardcore layer, sand blinding layer, insulation and concrete slab; external and internal wall measurements; building height; roof timbers, etc.

    Why did you start the bifold door opening below dpc but only on the inner skin🙄

    • @darrenthebuilder
      @darrenthebuilder  2 года назад

      The outer skin is the visible wall of the house. That must be a continuous wall

    So, you're managing three projects simultaneously: this one; the extension where you just finished plastering; and the one where you removed the antique mailbox. That is extraordinary!

      Yes.and we have not seen the end of the garden house next to the train station yet, I suspect they are waiting for the electrician or plumber. Multi project managing and working everyday. this team is awesome.

      Hi Furyan, we’re mainly awaiting the door and window which arrives from the manufacturer in just over a weeks time. It’s been a 6 week wait.

      @@andybrace4983 Agreed, but in general builders must adapt with the tools they can get at the day to complete jobs;, Darren did addressed these tool on another video as he knew it would be picked up. I can just assume these are the same tools and until the next few projects are complete. It may take slightly longer, but this is a small team of capable builders doing their best with what they can get hold of day on day to get a job done. This also must be highly appreciated. Remember this is a job for a friend. I am just trying to be the devil advocate here, as I also agree with you, but Darren knows these are wrong tool already.

    Does that 4mx3m building require planning or does it come under permitted development? Love your vlogs keep them coming
