No. Ki doesn’t exist in Sonic’s world, only Chaos Energy. Their similar to how they behave, but different from how they work. Ki is the life energy of all living being in Dragon Ball and can be harnessed into techniques, transformations, etc. Chaos Energy is radiated off the emeralds and eventually, it spreads throughout the whole world and universe in the form of Power Rings, Dark Gaia energy, Hyper-go-ons and other power ups such as Flame Shield, Invincibility Boost and Speed Break. Beings with a large connection to the Chaos Force such as Shadow, Knuckles and Silver can be born with abilities tied to Chaos Energy as well (Shadow’s immortality from the Black Arms, Knuckles immense strength and bond with the Master Emerald and Silver’s psychokinesis).

That Death Symbol Timed with Undefeatable is Chef’s Kiss. I can tell this Animation had plenty of love put into it. The SFX, Everything about it fits VERY well with the animation, Also the use of the Chains at the end was PERFECT! I also like the detail of adding the Undefeatable lyrics during the fight itself. But you could’ve made his eyes pink to fit with SSJR and the chains could’ve been rainbow. but still VERY solid animation, This animation also references how powerful Sonic is in frontiers/after 10/10

So the fool(Sonic Black) never thought about the master emerald when he was possibly massacring Sonic's friends from the universe he snatch the body from. Have the hut feeling he just shattered it and assumed his own powers is greater than a giant gem or something stupid.
If Sonic Black is basically Goku Black, where Zamasu took Sonic's body for the 0 mortals plan and killed all of Sonic's friends like how Goku Black did, then my head cannon is Knuckles was one of the last people Black killed, and they fought on Angle Island and when Knuckles realized he was gonna loose, he shattered the Master Emerald, which cut the power from the Super Emeralds as a result, cause he knew Sonic or Zamasu wouldn't have the ability to sense the Emeralds Shards, and the only other people, Tails and Eggman, are most likely dead already cause of how weak they were and how easy targets they are for Black to kill, so he knew to prevent Black from getting more power, destroying the Master Emerald was the only way, and either Black didn't know of the Master Emeralds power at the time, or was just too confident he didn't need the Master Emerald and his Rose form is either equal to or surpass Hyper
Sonic didn't look like he was taking him very seriously during alot of the fight. Like, most of the fight, only in little parts lmao, must've been pissing off zamasu expaditiously.
It's cool how you integrated sonic frontier moves into the battle. It would be cool if you added the phantom ruby into one of the future fights. The animation is really well made! Especially in the fighting! Getting dragon ball vibes.

Littlearlly my favorite piece of fan animation with the dedgrafic shorts that this is a sequel too I love frontiers it's my favorite game it made Sonic op and amazing again with literally showing Sonic with the emeralds is more powerful than the saiyan transformations I got goosebumps you have created a masterpiece:)
I think that the Hyper Form can only be achieved by someone of pure heart and has the Chaos power to do it I also feel that using the chaos emeralds is not necessarily cheating since it requieres technique and certain specifications to use it, not everyone can use them and even the emerals are "sentient" in a certain way I think that using the emeralds could count as using a power source beyond the usual, like Goku's UI But im not pretty sure, does anyone know more about the aspect?
All I know is that Chaos is power, power enriched by the heart, the user unifies the Chaos. I think anyone can use the emeralds, if they have the will to do it.
Yes, given enough time anyone can use the emeralds to go super but in order to go hyper you have to 1. find the master emerald 2. have the normal emeralds on you 3. turn hyper and it is importantto know the hyper state is unstable you can't stay in that form for too long without risking damaging the super emeralds (in sonic 3 and knuckles you used hyper to beat Eggman in space, but it took you a while just to beat him and later in sonic maina it shows the super emeralds damaged from your previous uses of hyper) and without taking the right steps you risk permanently destroying the super emeralds( the super emeralds once made become a hollow form completely useless without the normal emeralds) thought with enough time in the form you can make it stable for longer uses.

Now, with the new Sonic frontiers update trailer showing that Sonic can use Chaos Boost(or whatever it is called), which I think is his form of Kioken, at least while in super Sonic form, it gives Sonic more ways to just stomp on Zamasu. Possibly even countering Zamasu’s Kioken with Chaos Boost.
The music choice is so god like (literally) such a Divine aura to it. For me it’s literally made never watch this like 4 times already and check out the artiest.

So I think this might be the continuation of the 3rd fight from dedgrafic's trilogy of short video involving sonic frontiers vs 2 Dragon Ball Sonic
Loved this animation, and when sonic black used his ki blade at that undefeatble part, that was so clean

Now, with the new Sonic frontiers update trailer showing that Sonic can use Chaos Boost(or whatever it is called), which I think is his form of Kioken, at least while in super Sonic form, it gives Sonic more ways to just stomp on Zamasu. Possibly even countering Zamasu’s Kioken with Chaos Boost.
I'm pretty sure the form in the trailer was his cyber sickness thing fused with the chaos emeralds I call it cyber super sonic or super sonic 2

10:55 That grin on Sonic's face he is possibly on of the best little bits of showing character through animation I've seen.
The music choice is so god like (literally) such a Divine aura to it. For me it’s literally made never watch this like 4 times already and check out the artiest.
