Great review Aaron. I think Alberto Morillas uses quite a lot Ethyl Linalool in his formulations. If I smell Profondo and then try ADG Parfum or Versace Pour Homme, I go nose blind instantly. I was wondering which ingredient caused nose blindness, thanks for clarification, much love!

Ten sprays each time and I get compliments galore from both men and women. I recently purchased Profondo Parfum and it doesn’t have the same sparkle. Coincidentally, I took some photos earlier as I intend to list the Parfum on eBay tonight. P.S. My eight year old is getting into fragrances and chose to wear Supernova on our day out today. True story 🙏
Is Oud WOOD Still worth getting? I keep hearing about how bad performance is but I'm thinking about ordering it regardless. As a collector I feel like I should have it.
This has been my daily for the last couple years and it’s perfect for that purpose. Fresh, clean, has accessible complexity, and is wholly inoffensive. I agree that for nights and weekends I opt for to veer into the stronger, singular notes (e.g eros for sweetness, Prada l’homme for florals, D&G the one for woods, etc), where this is right down the middle! Appreciate your nose and technical insights!

Getting into figuring out what works on my skin as the impression I seem to be experiencing after testing quite a few different fragrances is that more often than not I feel like they die down very quick and dont really push. Either its my nose or skin. Vetiver seems to be a solid note. Either ranting way. peace

You might be confusing this with Profumo, which was discontinued. Profumo was replaced by ADG Parfum with a great 2024 update that got it back to what it was before. Profondo has a slight update for 2024 and is widely available

I have the 2024 parfum. Women and men love this fragrance. I wear it to work from time to time and I’ve got great compliments from men and women. The “oh wow you smell so good, what is that?” Type of compliment. It’s aquatic, but the patchouli and incense give it depth and base. It’s one of those fragrances that are just comforting and classy. Its honestly grown on me the more I wear I it

Now, all I can smell is something like washed cloths that we forgot to put away, don't know how to explain better... I gave it a try here and there but always the same smell and it gives me headache.... Very weird....
Profondo rots, it smells piss sour from sweet smell it has. If your bottle is from first batches (2019) and it's been open for 9-10 months it can go bad. I think that's why they reformulated it and now Parfum, Profondo EDP shares similar base.

I’d recommend you guys try Liam blue I think it’s called? It’s a clone of Profondo and it’s very very good. A little sweeter but still aquatic. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on it

One people love is azzaro chrome extreme, which I have and find it unwearable due to synthetics. Liam blue is synthetic, but if $20 isn’t a lot for you I’d recommend trying it out
profondo is an easy grab that's great for most occasions from warm summer days out, to work, just lazing about the house to also a great fragrance for the gym. some people need to pull their heads out of their ass with saying nonsense like it's boring and safe and not challenging.... they're missing the point completely of this amazing smelling, compliment pulling, wear almost anywhere at anytime fragrance

@@activematrix5360 it's definitely not, you haven't got a clue what you're talking about they might have a few similar notes or accords but aren't even in the same wheelhouse of fragrances. there's hundreds of fragrances that smells closer to dylan blue in that blue ambery fragrance category and theres a lot of fragrances in that light citrus/aquatic category that profondo would sit in..... dylan isn't one of them, just look on fragrantica under adg profondo and no-one.... i mean literally no-one thinks it smells similar to dylan blue 🤣
This is one of Morillas' generic blue scents that, even though it smells very pleasant, is virtually indistinguishable from the sea of other blue fragrances. This isn't art, it's business. 0% risk, 0% passion, 0% creativity, 100% safe.
I didn't like it.. I gave it 2 weeks and wore it everyday with 1 compliment and I just think its too plain.. didn't impress me so I took it back.. I had the new 2024 EDP Profondo.. just wasnt for me. Hope everyone else enjoys it though..

Love the "Aqua di Gio" range. But yes, their perfumes are not groundbreaking, but they're really good.
this scent works extremely well in the high heat and is my dumb reach for hot summer days. It feels so refreshing to wear like a glass of water haha.

This is perfect for someone who isn’t too into fragrances. Cheap, extremely easy to wear, and the performance is surprisingly very good
