Cool your mum and dad accepting your vegan lifestyle. I'm in my 50's, a very long term vegan and my elderly mum is still despicable to me about my vegan lifestyle. I snapped last week after she told me to go and eat my vegan junk so I told her she was consuming cruelty.
Yeah i have that too. Would love mine to just agree to eat vegan around me but they wont .
We have a lounge down the road from me literally..10 mins from home ..never been in..its always busy ..seen u on several vlogs goin to them by you and always think of you as i go in ..i think its time i tried the menu ..even on just eats..i hate now eating with non vegans its hard..i think mum n dad brom are great ..they eat with you .are they vegan or do they just eat vegan with you and eat some vegan ..i think they are fab.

Couldn't agree more. Loungers is a brilliant chain eating out option all round - dedicated vegan menu, alot of options and not the token 1/2, caters for both vegans and not, reasonable prices...

@@ThoseVeganGuys I went about 7 years ago. I was a veggie then. Can't really remember it much though but checked the menu looks ace.
Love the lounges. The Lebanese flatbread, is absolutely 10/10 💚💚💚. There are vegan options on the kids menu aswell, which is great, as I found out last time, we went. Amazing food and ambience
It is gorgeous isn't it. Never had a bad or boring plate at one of the lounges.

Ooh there's one in Chorley which is close and Oldham isn't far either tbf. It looks really good. I think a bus or train trip out to Chorley and some fat scran is in order

We used to love the lounges - they do have an extensive vegan menu which made it a great choice, but sadly we have pretty much( stopped going now. The prices in our local lounges have gone up steeply, and the last few times we went they either only had very limited choices available from the menu, or the quality was very poor. Not sure what happened there but it is a real shame :( I’m sure there are still good quality ones around but after being burnt a few times we hesitate to go in now. It it is worth a try for sure if you have never been, it is probably down to local management and chef. :)
I would have had a word with the manager and/or head office.
Interesting how we evolve. All my family and my partner's family are non-vegan so I used to feel there was really no option but to sit with people who were eating hideously cruel stuff. Now I'll only do it if I absolutely have to (an in-law's 90th birthday for example, and tbh that was awful and I had to endure jokes about the slaughter of lambs). Otherwise, nope, and never again with that group of inlaws. It was like dining out with some of the trolls we come across daily.
It's so hard to find places with decent vegan menus, will definitely be checking out The Lounges.

What a lovely time out this must have been; love your vlogs at that lounge. We have nothing like that here, just awful cookie cutter "casual dining" restos with bad regular food and no vegan options. [sigh] Thanks for posting!
