Amstell has the right instincts to be a great host. Graham points out Drogba's normalcy and Drogba really has nothing to say about it, so Amstell saves the moment from sinking by re-iterating the joke Graham was making in the first place. If he hadn't intervened it would have been awkward as hell. The joke of a footballer not screwing around is how you END a verbal exchange, not open it.
