Derby Days is back with a bang as we take the entire series to Spain to discover the incredibly unique rivalries that make up this obsessed football nation! This time it's Asturias, where we discovered two sets of fans whose love for their team, is only surpassed by their love for battling for their team. So after not playing for over 14 years, when they finally met, we experienced a match day arguably more chaotic than anything we've ever seen!

I love seeing Spanish derbies because of how much hate there is during the game but then at half time everyone sits down and eats their sandwiches quietly. It's an amazing dichotomy.

Not going to lie, everything Eli is in seems to be pure gold. How did you make me excited for a derby that's already finished and a world away from me? No idea but I loved every minute of it.

I went to gijon in summer over their local cidra week - it was great they put cider bottles on all their statues. We stood outside the stadium during a game and I couldn’t hear anything for the whole game you could feel the ground shake. Local pride was so real I don’t think I saw any food/clothes/anything really that wasn’t made in Asturias - had a nice

I lived in Oviedo one year and i saw that people in Asturias are different from Spain in good way. May be we dont have beaches, a lot of Money, huge groups of supporters but we have very big passion of being Asturiano ;) I love Oviedo and Asturias. missed you so much ...

I studied for a semester at Universidad de Oviedo in 2013. I kept telling myself I'd go see a Real Oviedo match but never did, not realizing that it was a pivotal moment during their triumphant "Proud of You" campaign. I still kick myself over that.
You can now right that wrong though, don't get jab poisoned to do so though.
Derby Days is hands down the best thing on RUclips. Respect.

Oviedo was top club in 40 and 50 years ,Sporting was top club in 70 and 80th with Quini . I hope next season both club will play in Primera.
'30 and 40'. In '50 was in First Division, but also in Second Division.

We are proud of our academy which has produce talents such as Silva, Sandro, Roque Mesa, Jonathan Viera, Vitolo, Juan Carlos Valerón, even Icardi started playing football here in Gran Canaria. Spencer Kilpatrick ignore him. We are passionate. Tickets are not that expensive. They are if you buy for just one game, but if you have the season ticket, like truly fans do, it’s pretty affordable.
