How Biblical Womanhood Changed My Life

- Growing in the understanding of Biblical Womanhood has changed so much for me. Here are some passages from scripture to help us:
I feel confident:
Proverbs 31:25 says, "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." Imagine that - laughing without fear of the future because of the strength and dignity you wear like a garment. When we absorb and live out the teachings of Biblical womanhood, it's like wrapping ourselves in these very threads of strength and dignity. This promise from God fills us with confidence, not in our own capabilities, but in His unending support and provision.
I am truly empowered:
Philippians 4:12-13 tells us, "I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength." There’s something so empowering about this truth, right? It's like having a constant reminder that even on the days when everything seems too much, when the laundry is piling up, and the little ones are clinging to our legs, we have a reservoir of strength to tap into - through Christ. It’s not just about getting through our day but thriving in it because He is with us.
I finally feel worthy:
Ephesians 2:10 - "For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Oh, how beautiful is it to know that we are considered masterpieces in the eyes of our Creator? This verse always reminds me that our worth isn’t based on worldly standards or even on our own often too harsh judgments of ourselves. Our worthiness comes from being His creation, intended for a purpose only we can fulfill. That thought alone is enough to fill the heart to the brim, isn’t it?
I'm finally fulfilled in life:
John 10:10 - "The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life." Jesus spoke these words as a promise that in Him, we find not just life, but a rich and satisfying one. It’s easy to lose sight of this promise when we’re in the weeds of day-to-day life, but when we pause and reflect on His Word, there’s such a deep sense of fulfillment that comes from knowing He intends our life to be full and joyous.

Thank you Heidi! I am over 50 and wish I would have found this sooner but God’s timing is good. All the years of trying what the world would say - I kept thinking there is no way it was meant to be this hard to feel and find purpose. Ahh now it is beginning to make sense!
I haven’t been following your channel for long, but I love it. I’m excited for the biblical womanhood study. It seems so timely. My youngest just graduated and moved to PA with his sister (my husband and I live in Florida). I’ve been a homeschool mom for years. I’m struggling to find my place and feel ill equipped to re-enter the workforce after almost a decade.
Thank you, Heidi. You explained this all so well. I was a very feminist person before coming to Jesus. I see why- martial rape was legal until 1999 in some states and generations of women have been literal doormats to their spouses. My mother was a homemaker and my dad divorced her and she had no work experience to get a job to provide for us. That really impacted me to push to be a very competent financial provider. I get where women are these day. along with growing up with brothers and not having opportunity to learn skills in the same way I saw that as a negative, and growing up physically stronger than most women; I felt I wasn’t as attractive and I just tried to “own it”… boy, I wish I heard Gods word that I was perfectly created in my womanhood and in my body. I remember reading Proverbs 31:17 and seeing a verse about a woman having strong arms and waist and felt so seen by God- I carried two babies back to back with that strong core and also can am physically strong by Gods design and it was the first time I liked my strong arms God gave me. I tried for a decade to doing powerlifting and fitness instruction and never felt fulfilled. One read of Proverbs 31:17 and I felt a shift for the better in my eyes shifting to Gods.
Also, beautiful description on how the more you read Gods word the more it changes you. It’s so true- not through our ability but through His. I see this in my life the past few months and I’m such a different person in so much already and I’m stunned at the things I drawing to and away from that I never saw possible for myself.

I have such a passion concerning biblical womanhood. My husband is a Pastor and we’re considering beginning classes for women on these topics. Culture has blinded us as women, wives, and mothers. I love your channel.
It really has, and is so important! It’s weighed heavily on my heart over the past few years and is my prayer this year to find a way to connect and partner with local churches to help share resources to get our sisters in Christ digging into such important areas. Praying for you and your husband, ministry is a beautiful, but often difficult, thing! If we can ever be of help, we’re here for you! 💕🙏🏻
