Are you gonna release a video about rail bite, and the effects of what sort of spin, and how hard you play the ball? Seems like a follow on from this.

Hey Florian, just wondering what kind of wrap you got on that Ace-187 Mezz cue? I'm planning on getting one and wouldn't mind a wrap like that instead of gripping the Irish linen wrap it comes with... Thanks in advance.

Isn't easier to understand, if you are 3 diamonds away from the opposite pocket and want to bank , 3 diamonds away on your side is 1 and 1/2 on the other rail?

I like your video however you fail to mention cue ball has to hit the rail groove even though it showed in the video. kind of minor stuff but it is important. The reason I like your video is you give enough examples of the systems which is useful to young players.

on the mirror system when the angle is greater than 30 degrees the ball tend to run long also a tiny bit of english can translate to inches across the width or length of the table. Most new players struggle on kicks and banks because they need to find center ball. Personally I think everyone should own a measle cue ball to learn if they are addressing the cueball like they believe they are.
Dividing the line between the start position and destination has nothing to do with it being parallel to a rail but perpendicular from the projected point on the rail.
Use top and learn to be constant with the speed and the learning curve will be reduced. All this said there are serval factors that affect the cueball and this coaching assumes near perfect conditions and the laws of physics and trigonometry as defined by folks from planet earth.

I get why playing fast can get you short, as compression plays a role, but I don't understand how playing soft can make the angle greater. If there's no side spin, there should be no rail bite, and the max angle you would get is the natural angle; isn't it?

I believe if the angle is steep like 1 diamond away from the side kicking to the other side, slow speed won’t lengthen the shot. But if you shoot where the angle is more open like from corner pocket through side pocket diamon to the corner on the other end of the table, the natural forward roll of the ball and the shallow angle at slow speed allow it to lengthen out some

All this advices are great!! but.. you realize that when you are in a pool game, you only have less than 60 seconds to make the shot, so you need to act fast. So my advice is to have another system that gives you the confidence to shoot fast and not overthink the shot
