The sad part: this was a hand-made, one of a kind trophy, that had 18K gold inlays, was made for this occasion for about 6 months and has a value if about 4.000 euro...

It's hyper competitiveness and the best drivers push all the way whilst on the track, once the race is over it's thanks or sorry depending on the statement. You should listen to Yuki's radio if you think Lando is disrespectful. People swear and say all sort of stuff in normal traffic trying to get home, it just doesn't get broadcasted. Anyone who takes comments like that seriously, has never been in high stakes presure situation in their life and doesn't know enough about F1 to know it's really not a big deal. As for the trophy, it was clearly unintentional, followed by banter between mates, if Max is not upset, then nobody should be.
Some facts. These trophies are handmade during a 6 month period with great craft, and the estimated value of it 45,000 USD. These are one of a kind porcelain trophies.

I think the teams get to stay with most of the trophies, even those earned by the drivers. Example: recently McLaren found the “Sonic Trophy” earned by Senna in Donnington 1993 somewhere in a warehouse.

Personally, Norris sounded like a real smart arse for someone who did just break someone else's trophy.

Hungarian grand prix trophies are hand made and painted by herendi manufacture. Its worth bout $44000 each. But learnt from the past Herendi make two from each piece so if one got damaged they can replace immediately.
Considering he gets one every year, this will now be the only one that’s memorable when he looks at it
