I think the Channel will benefit from having someone from the country whose food you’re reviewing. It will help shed light on ingredients for the food and how it’s supposed to be eaten. Waakye has to be mixed together with the gari, stew and shito and spaghetti. The Banku tastes fermented because the main ingredient is fermented corn dough and cassava.
Yeah they wouldn’t know how to pronounce them as we both have different names. They’re Nigerian so. I would say Ivory Coast shares more similar food with Ghana since we’re neighbouring countries.
We don’t eat waakye separately we mix it together that’s it.
Please pin this comment so all can see and learn

Thanks for your idea Ewurama. We will work on it for next videos since we are still growing and need support. Thanks for watching 💕
Love the lady with the locks
Mixing the spaghetti and garri makes the Waakye
The pronunciation of that shito sauce sounds funny 😂😂😂
It's best enjoyed when you mix all together 😅
Thanks Derrik for the suggestion 1💕💕
This is good content, I'd like to have the "Council of elders" one day 😂😂
😂😂😂
We mix the waakye before eating
Fantastic 😂
A closer view of the food will be nice
I will borrow the expression "council of elders" for the waakye😅
😅😅😅💕💕
Nigerians love banku and tilapia
I don't know why they are adding plantain to waakye cos it's never part of the combination.
Please how were you serving the dishes 😂😂😂 fufu on a plate with a fork beside it😅 stop playing
Much blessings
Akwaaba ::: Medaase
Thanks 💕
It’s “yaanua” for your age mate
“Yaaena” for a woman older than you
“Yaagya” for a man older than you
Then if you want to enjoy it don’t use spoon 🥄 to eat kenkey and fish 🐟 use your hands 🙌 to eat
My darling you can't tell us how to eat our Waakye. We love it with everything
Kenney with a spoon? Boi
With all the internet access I’m surprised you all are unable to pronounce waakye correctly or was this done deliberately? Very strange
