    Remember to take the video with a grain of salt because there's too many variables to have a consistent list of what professions will perform the bes when the expansion launches later in August!!
    UPDATE: Tailoring profession bag recipes all cost 150 Artisan's Acuity and 1500 Kej each, so that's gonna be a ton of work (not a bad thing tho)

    I think so much depends on timing as well. For example with the large delay before raids opening I think alchemy and enchanting has less potential early on. You will have 0 demand for all those consumables but everyone will be trying to level them making there also be a huge excess available crashing prices. This is especially true since we have a lot longer than normal between launch and raid/M+ opening. After the first week of the raid the demand will likely outstrip supply causing prices to go back up. On the other hand gear professions will have huge demand as people get pre-raid bis. Tailoring will probably have the biggest demand as people all are replacing their bags, especially all the characters from remix who will start with shitty bags. Those bags are mostly a one time purchase though, after the first two weeks the demand on them is going to tank heavily.
    Personally I think my main is likely to be enchanting(to DE all the gear you get from raids, delves, m+). The second profession I have narrowed to alchemy and engineering, I am leaning a bit more towards alchemy at the moment. The first alt is going to be my druid which is dual gathering, at least for the first week while mats are in crazy high demand. The third alt is going to be tailoring and engineering/alchemy (whichever the first didn't have). The 4th alt will probably be blacksmithing and inscription.
    That said I actually think with the concentration system that dual gathering on the main might actually be the way to go. If your limited to only 1 or 2 really good crafts a day by concentration those being on the main make less sense.

    • @Zanzarful
      @Zanzarful  Месяц назад +1

      There's a lot of different things that could go right but indeed also a lot that could go wrong based on timings for however you use any of these professions. Will be interested to see everything in full swing

      @@ronaldwestbeal2269 It is more this time we have a much longer time before it opens up. Normally heroic normal and M+ opens up the same week. This time there is 2 weeks and then heroic raids and M0 opens up. M+ doesn't open up until 3 weeks in which means your going to see a lot less demand than normal. That is a pretty long time where your going to have very little demand. I still think it will be worthwhile, I probably will still have my main do alchemy, I expect to make a lot of gold from the transmutations.

    Also the main drawback I find on Eng and Insc is that they are kinda complicated and cumbersome, requiring many intermediate materials which can be tedious and altogether turn off people from the profession. I went the crafting route for Tailoring & Blacksmithing in DF as my main professions. And although I don't regret it completely, it was a lot of work. Messaging with people, arguing over pricing and then also walking them through how to actually get it to a max craft (ex: people didnt want to buy the tier 3 mats and didn't want to pay for me having to use insight.) I started inscription mid expac on an alt and maxed missives and treaties. I had a list of regular personal crafting orders every week for the treaties and the missives were a huge gold maker for me and way less hassle. I also finally maxed sophic devotion enchants towards the middle as well which was A HUGE money maker, but again a lot of work and a lot of points needed to get there.
    I think I will be doing Tailoring (bags & gear) & Enchanting on my main, and then my first alt will have JC (new potential BIS piece again) and inscription. Basically to have gear crafting IF I WANT, but also be making some $ on the AH easily & quickly. I also made a TON from settings with JC too.

    Good vid, but this list looks quite accurate once you have max points, but for early game (1/2months) you have tailoring and JC on S tier, the reasons (besides all the cool stuff you mentioned) cloaks, necks and rings, every class needs em, LW early is bad, cause you can only focus in either Leather or mail, and you will only be able to craft a couple of crafted pieces early on (wich should be boots/wrists or belts, to avoid crafting tier slots) and most players wont be able to have 4 alts with LW or any given proffesion. BS also is kind of not great early on, cause you kind of gamble on which weapons/gear you can start crafting early on, alche and enchanting great all the way. Inscription should be tier B and i agree with engeneering

    • @Zanzarful
      @Zanzarful  23 дня назад

      Hence my disclaimer at the beginning, there's so many variables for how people can use professions to make gold that it's impossible to make a completely and 100% fair tier list for every situation.
      But yes the early game is quite different compared to when people are gonna max their professions out far into the expansion

  • @funnygames9363
    @funnygames9363 Месяц назад

    The demand on Jewelry is absolutely nuts. I don't get how it's possible to put something above it. It clearly stands besides Enchanting which as almost the same huge demand.
    Then, in A-Tier, not far behind those 2 but still a little bit behind, there is indeed others crafting professions (except engineering of course).
    We can discuss about Inscription which is slightly behind A-Tier professions IMO. It can be between A and B but clearly above Engineering.
    That said, there is absolutely no reasons to put herbalism in a different spot than mining or putting Cook above them. Only skinning is above these professions.
    Finally, and even if they are at the bottom of the tier-list (which is their places), don't underestimate mining and herbalism. They can be a good gold income, especially at the start of an expansion.

    • @Zanzarful

      I recommend starting with the professions you intend to keep, there's quite a lot of weekly rewards you need to keep up with to have your profession in a good spot. While there are catch-up systems in this expansion they don't catch you up 100%

    • @funnygames9363
      @funnygames9363 Месяц назад

      ill think they removed after WoD the dps gain / Player power on professions. except 2 things: engineers ress (and exclusiv googles) and alchemy flask duration. in DF the engineer googles were pretty much never used due to tier set and the capped crafting amount items ( via sparks). the engineers ress will be available for every player (no profession needed). so thats gone. the last player power thats introduced in DF was the alchemy has a smol bonus on their flasks / pots like movement speed, taking less dmg... but at the end that nearly ever affect you - its rather a nice to have and not player power.

    • @Zanzarful
      @Zanzarful  Месяц назад

      I talked about it in the video, but the reason they have some of the lowest tiers is because they are limited in terms of how much you can farm every hour. Crafting professions have way more potential because of how many markets you can cover and how many items you can buy/sell/craft on the auction house or make for others on the work order system in the same amount of time.
      That doesn't mean the profession isn't interesting or fun or you can't make gold, it just cannot compete with another system like crafting that outperforms it at every turn.
      But that just depends on what you wanna do and how much gold you have to start. BUT! focus on what you enjoy doing in the game, because if you do something that you hate you will just burnout and maybe quit making gold, which just makes whatever reason something is good completely pointless

      @Zanzarful  Месяц назад +1

      Hard to say what will make the ''maximum'' amount of gold, you just have to play the game and use professions however you see fit because there's gold everywhere.
      If you don't have much gold atm i would go for farming/gathering professions since they just require your time and going out gathering and or farming materials from mobs.
      Crafting professions do require a little bit of gold to buy the required materials and or recipes to skill up your profession

    Hello, new subscriber here. Your videos are encouraging me to enter this world of professions. I usually play CE raiding and so I would like to know if there is any profession that benefits more from high ilvl, I imagine skinning and tailoring? On the other hand, the alt armies mentioned in these videos, is there a recommended ilvl requirement? Thanks to whoever can answer.

    • @Zanzarful
      @Zanzarful  Месяц назад +1

      High ilvl helps with anything farming related with mobs, that includes Tailoring, Inscription, Skinning and Enchanting mostly - those all have different niches that are good for raiders to get into. You could also go for Alchemy to increase the duration of phials and flasks by 100%

    Pretty much agree with the list. I am only running 5 characters this time around with all the professions engaged except to skinning. I will not be focusing on weapons and armor - can't stand being in trade chat. Would be good if someone took a long look at the impact of pvp in professions though. Ironically, I main a pvp character, so I'm looking forward to rated single queue RBG's where I can pick up quite a bit of honor for recipes and then feed them to my crafters eg the bloodstones for JC. I wonder if there is any significant gold to be made here. Time will tell.

    your talking points are great. but the ranking is bull#### (and on top the "most gold" clickbait) like:
    -> enchanting is S because of enchants (yeah duh since legion there no profits in enchanting, maybe 1g here and there.. nothing big as profit after skilling), the crests are good when the ressourcefullness or tip is decent, still you wont break even. 3rd the transmogg could be ok-but again i doubt you will make a big amount of money of that, similar to disenchanting. so i would rate it around engineering - its a nice to have but you wont make a decent profit.
    -> blacksmith is worse than LW ? both have a ton of skillpoints, both craft 2 types of gear (leather+mail) and (plate and weapons) .. both craft materials.. leather. then also there are the crafting tools. so it should at least equal to LW. for me i only made from all professions the most gold in blacksmithing, mostly because at addon begin the weapon craft tips where up to 50k each (up to 15min of my time to explain everything to customers)

    • @Zanzarful
      @Zanzarful  Месяц назад

      Just depends on how much effort is put into every crafting profession really, you can get so much gold from every profession in a ton of different markets.
      Enchants were absolutely insane in DF, especially if you were ahead of others.
      I also base some of it on versatility of the profession and Enchanting has a lot of that. But also they are incredibly close to each other not all of them were easy to decide on.
      You are right that blacksmithing also covers weapons, but the downside to that is based on what I saw in DF with weapons usually not getting prioritized for crafts compared to gear for most classes. I expect that to happen again in TWW.
      But yea work orders have huge potential to be worth tons of gold, especially because of inspiration now too
      But that's also what my disclaimer at the beginning of the video is for haha

      It's not to say you can't make millions of gold through herb/mining/skinning in the first couple of weeks but you are limited to however much you can farm per hour.
      For crafting this is not the case, you can craft way more than you will ever be able sell even with multiple accounts all crafting.

      You can always put more effort into anything you do, question is, when is it too much? hence why I explained at the beginning of the video with my disclaimer that I can't get in-depth for every profession because it's still pre-expansion and I don't want the video to be multiple hours long. The purpose of the video is 1. for fun and 2. to get conversations started and get people thinking about what they want to do or maybe give people new ideas for what to go for.
      Another thing I want to add, I make content based on what I'm interested in hearing about or what community members ask for, sure I could've written a script, made awesome visual aids and segmented chapters and more in-depth explanations for every profession. But that also lowers output for other interesting topics or things I want to work on. It can never be perfect
