My pregnancy tests always show negative because of mums history of multiple births since ella 10 and Mar 6. The hcg is too high with multiple births to show up on a urine test. You always wonder if your child blames you for being a sleeping target, abandoning them, or whether families are judging you for being a live doll sleeping. The movie's still really good! As someone who absolutely loves both the band and the books I can say I freaking loved the movie in spite of the changes- Emma having air makes more sense with the changed bits in the movie, and some of the children' ages are swapped around, but they stayed mostly true to the first book pretty well!
More than 6 years later i rewatched the movie and it’s actually pretty underrated, not to mention I just realised the end credits version of this song is different with more instrumention and motifs from the movie
My dad died on January 11th this year we watched this movie together and he loved this song (I’m 11 btw) and when I was 6 he recorded him saying “one day I’m not gonna be here anymore,I’m sick baby” and I said “daddy,I don’t want you to leave me,where will you go? Can I go with you?” And he laughed and we cried...I miss him so much...he died of a heart attack,kidney failure,heart failure,and Diabetes at age 43,one day I can see him again...😔

I am a huge fan of miss peregrine I've been watching it since I was 10 and it never gets old I love how deep the story is I love how old themed it is as people say now and I've just been in love with it and I would listen to this song after the theme would roll and the credits would pop on and I would watch the photos of the peculiar children and it was always like such a daydream listening to the song and looking at these old black and white photos from this film that I still love to this day it never gets old and I will watch this film until I am in the grave I am in high school now so I still have a long way to go but this film no matter how many times I watch it, I will never grow old of it, because for 4 years, I've been watching it, I have never gotten over that, it is always been my go to movie and always has been my favorite it has been my comfort movie for as long as I can remember, when I first watched it, I finally felt comforted in such a dark place with my family and with my mother and father, when I watched this I felt free,

I know it's been 4 years...but how are you doing? I'm going through a similar thing right now...
It's always been very hard for me to let people in, but by some stroke of fate, I ended up ice skating with a guy one on one by mistake because everyone else had canceled. We clicked like puzzle pieces but even then I was weary and didn't fully let him in. We hung out every day. We talked all the time. We told each other everything with a level of excitement and contentment I might never be able to match again. Without even realizing he became the closest person to me, and vice versa. It seemed so sudden when he pulled away for no apparent reason. I practically never speak to him anymore, but I miss him and all those little thing he never let anyone else see. I'll admit I let myself fall for him too...its another level of pain to experience someone so close become almost a stranger. He changed too. +Nathan Silvestre Well, it's not really part of the Peculiar Children series, but it came out on September 3rd, and it's called "Tales of the Peculiar".
I had a friend. We knew each other so deeply since the first moment. He used to say I was his mirror. He helped me in one of the worst moments of my life, I was always there for him. I think he was the only person that I can call my soulmate.
I felt in love with him, he did not love me back. One month later, he came back and said that he missed me, that he could not live without me, but he did not love me, I was too much for him, I knew him too deeply, and he was scared as hell. I ran away, because I knew that, if I stayed there watching him falling in love for someone else, I'd be lost.

All these yrs and I still cry whenever I here this beautiful song. The words truly describe a feeling that rips through out my soul constantly. My very best friend passed from a rare heart issue 6 yrs.ago. Even though we were separated by miles upon miles,
the distance never once hindered our soul connection.
She literally waited for ne to fly in across country and rush to the hospital too be by her side. She took her last breathe almost 20 minutes later with her immediate family and myself, respectfully beside her. I miss her beautiful smile and generous and loving heart, every moment of every day of my life.
I used to love this movie and soundtrack. But I never knew who sung it. Then I found out it was Florence. 3 years after the movie I got into Florence and noticed how much I’ve seen her over the years. I remember seeing Never Let Me Go on those music channels on the TV and just thinking it was a weird music video. And here I am with her book and albums on my shelf. Full circle

I love how she incorporated the aspects of the movie into the song in such a way that even if you didn't watch the movie it would be an amazing song. She is truly a breathtaking musician. Every high note she sings gives me the chills. Bravo.

I’m a very rigid and emotionally hidden person- it’s 2018 and just now am I feeling the sadness for my grandmothers death. This song helps me grieve for my Dad. I wasn't allowed to grieve for him because I picked up everyone's pieces.
I was the one who stayed in pieces though. I broke inside, and if you shake me, something still rattles inside me, like those broken clocks that have a screw loose.
Its like Florence stole all the words of my heart and wrote it in this song and I become the girl that floats now because the one thing that grounded me was my dad and now that he is gone. There is nothing holding me down to earth. He was my moral compass, my true north and now I am just a mad compass spinning in every direction. Even the movie took me on a journey about boy who lost his grandad...its a journey of loss, unbearable confusing loss!
Thank you Florence for helping me grieve, I didn't know how until the melody journeyed with me and my grief and left me at the destination called deliverance.

Someone mentioned in the comments that people come back to this song after years and despite how much they have changed, how they hear this song hasn’t. That kind of consistency is incredible. I honestly cannot say the same for most songs! Welch has something that I do not know how to utilise and for that reason I will be jealous and in awe of her for as long as I lack it.
