There are 6 slots for friction pads but still we use 3 pads why ? Unable to connect reasons ... I hope to attain speed gain gradually . Reduce overall friction gain abruptly. Reduce centrifugal force required to move pads outwards for a definite time Reduce inertia on motor shaft initially . (More pads more mass more inertia to overcome more centrifugal force required for engagement ). To provide a backlash phenomenon in pads during time of stopping so that pads may not overlap and hence life and friction characteristics maintained longer ... Suggest me if any more reasons !!! 🙏
Because of gear ratio between horizontal shaft worm wheel and vertical shaft worm gear ( pinion) .. like 14:1 hence bowl rpm much higher than motor rpm .. any correction always welcome 🤗
