Their relationship is honestly so so complex that I don't even think a whole thesis would do it justice. It can't be put into words. But the thing is, there are so many aspects to it, that inevitably each person watching will feel and understand their relationship on some personal level, and that's why it's so effective. The whole show revolves around them in my humble opinion. Their acting is pure brilliance😩

What a "schizophrenic" relationship. One day they are allies and the next day Serena turns on June. It's all in the way the show is written. You are right. It's all crazy making. I'm hoping that they will ultimately come to find some kind of peace with each other, but you never know what the writers will do.
Idk if that's even accurate to say... There relationship can be seen as toxic and abusive but schizophrenic is an actual mental health diagnosis

This is brilliantly done. The thing is, Serena was such a cold, abusive, cruel, calculating MONSTER for 4 seasons, and the writers decided to “humanize” Serena. As it’s written, these two are sort of an odd couple that people are rooting for, but I don’t forget. Ever. The amount of times that Serena raped June, tortured June, beat June, and more- that is what Serena is capable of. That’s a monster. I am angry at the writers for doing what they are doing, but the actors are doing amazing and this edit is beautiful and poignant.
I love what the show is doing with their relationship. I like the idea that they have reached a point where their bond leads them to help each other rather than to tear each other apart. After all the harm they've done to each other, maybe peace is still possible. By force of circumstance, their unfailing will, their shared determination will perhaps lead to the end of Gilead.
Once again, your vid highlights everything essential, and always with a lot of aesthetics, finesse and accuracy.

You did an amazing work. There is a womderful attention to details and you represented perfectly their character arc thoughout the serie. The editing is something to look up to and the music choice allowed a perfect crescendo
