@Cocomuncha In this video we are using the same type of board that is on these particular pallets. You are correct, using reclaimed boards are more cost effective if you have them available as long as they are the same size or thinner in thickness. You cant use thicker material then what the pallet is made of since it would cause the pallet to wobble
thanks Chris. We start off on a base pay until the staff member understands what is required with safety and expectations, after that is known - they are moved to a Piece rate system where they are paid per pallet they repair. I really appreciate the comment!
Let’s be honest here, that’s not how he’d repair if the camera wasn’t on him. There’s no way you’d hit production figures if you inspected pallets like that.
Probably a dumb question, but why do you use new slats rather than using old ones from pallets that have broken down? Cheers
