Am I the only one who remembers the IT collab???? There was a balloon that would come out of a drain at Pleasant Park and would play Penywise’s laugh after you broke it
it was a collab that didn’t go through they got audio files from pennywise and there was gonna be a skin and glider but it didn’t went through and the balloons were the only part of it
I wonder what the hell they were smoking with that one. Man was a great man gave one of the best speeches in history ...why was it in a game though with us idiot players it seems in retrospect not a bad Collab it was just in poor taste. Historical events doesn't belong in Fortnite
I also thought we would've had an event as well because the Ecto-1 could be found in a barn at the southern most part of the island too. It was a letdown ngl

Hoooollly crap, I forgot about that collab. I queued into a match to watch the thing, and after about 15 minutes of doing nothing interesting, I left. I think I might actually have an image of it stored on my Nintendo Switch. Edit: I have just checked, and whilst I don't have a screenshot of the news tab for the event, I have about 16 screenshots of the event in-game, with 14 of them being close-up to the Risky Reels screen with little-to-no blockage.

As a Mexican I can’t diss on the chapulin Colorado collab but it was great to see a game put a Mexican actor in the game cuz u don’t see fucking el chapo in cod or Pablo Escobar in final fantasy and I’m glad we get some recognition in the white mans country 🫡🫡

I remember that. They also displayed some other episodes or animation’s or yada yada in party royal. I don’t know if they still do that anymore but I definitely remember the episodes. Immediately forgot about them besides this one where they interviewed animals in the style of Shawn the sheep. I remember the mouse eating chocolate.

I waited for like 30 minutes and got bored so I just swam to the shark and took one of those bears that were in the game one time. And in like 2021, the streaming service that streamed the punk’ed series shut down. This was indeed the worse event in Fortnite history

I love Doctor Who. It's been my favorite show since I was like 3. I also love Fortnite, so when I heard Fortnite was doing a Doctor Who collab, I was excited. I was thinking of all the cool things that could be done, like skins of all the Doctors. I was a bit disappointed to find out that we only got a spray. I still love the fact we got a spray (that spray hasn't left my emote wheel since I equipped it) but it could have been so much more. You can also imagine my disappointment when those "leaks" about a big Fortnite X Doctor Who turned out to be fake.
I miss when Fortnite collabs weren’t overshadowing the games creativity in the skin department. I liked when we got Deadpool, but we still have the main season theme. The marvel season is the only exception that since the season was just fun in general.
I always found it strange that they added skins for characters like Issac Clarke, honestly. I remember my younger cousin overhearing me talking about him with my stepdad a few years back and he said "he's not from Fortnite?" My dad and I both looked at him in confusion, he asked me and I shrugged and looked into it. Imagine our shock when we saw his skin in that game. We both collectively then asked "Why the fuck is a character from an insanely gory horror game a character in a kid's game?" Now that we look back on it, it might've been because of the Dead Space Remake and more of a thing for fans (like myself) to buy. If I played at the time, yeah I would've bought him. I'm old enough to remember the trailers for Dead Space 2 which was my favorite game in the series
One that is mostly unknown and kind of underwhelming were the Radiohead lobby track and loading screen for playing the Kid A Exhibit, its neat but im hoping that they maybe do some Radiohead jam tracks
The Doctor Who collab gets incredibly depressing because there was supposed to be a mini battle pass involved near the end of last year with two doctor skins: The 14th and 15th Doctor but it was canceled since it wasn’t finished in time for the anniversary episode and time related issues involving the collab. There’s actual leaks of this collab you can look up. Supposedly it’s been rebooted to focus just on the 15th Doctor but there’s been no news about it since.
Important about the Doctor Who collab, it was fumbled. It would've included a skin with styles of both David Tennant and Ncuti Gatwa's doctors. Fortnite moved it to Q1 of this year, when BBC wanted it to be Q4 of last year to match with the anniversary and Christmas Special. Fortnite did this because of... Lego. BBC had it and now the skin is lost to time
Without collabs epic games would go out of business with all the times they pissed off their player base cause if epic games only focused on competitive the game would be in shambles and epic games would have no way to distract their fans from their money grabbing ways and than the game would lose viewership faster than chapter 5 season 3 which says a lot cause a lot of pros were absolutely pissed off by that season.
Personally my least favorite collabs were the nft bunny ripoff of max from Sam and max, and then more recently the tiktok guy that were both forced into the battle pass, you had to get both to get the final rewards, you could not opt out

Never really thought of what the worst collab could be, but I did think the gears collab was a bit of a letdown. Kait’s lobby pose and facial animations looks like they didn’t even try to make it look good, she looks like she’s some lifeless husk staring off into the middle-distance. And then there’s the confusing choices for the pickaxes, backblings and glider. Marcus looks mostly okay, but they could’ve added an OG style for him at least. Considering gears was one of my favourite games growing up, and also considering that epic games is the company that originally made gears, I was disappointed with the result to say the least.
For me I’d have to say Fortnite x Fallout. I know to some that may sound weird but I’ll list my reasons: - Vault Boy backbling was overpriced for what it came with (no edit styles based on the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attributes or even more Fortnite themed bobble heads) - I know copyright would be a problem with the music that plays within Fallout but they couldn’t at least give us the themes for Fallout 3, 4, and New Vegas as jam tracks?! - No other skins such as customizable Vault Dwellers, Courier Six, Ulysses, or even the show characters like Lucy or Maximus - No other Fallout themed weapons (would hav loved to see the Fat Man, Plasma Rifle or the Super Sledge) - Nuka Cola I expected to see but it would have been better if you could get other Nuka Cola variants that had different effects (Quantum, Dark, Cherry, etc) - No Fallout enemies. I know that that would be shaky ground but I personally would have loved to fight the occasional Deathclaw, Robobrain, or even Cazadores on the map 😂 TLDR: Kinda disappointed with the Fortnite x Fallout collab, they could have done more…
I agree with you but especially since they put a black knight style on it it’s should have been an outcast power armor instead but not only that they should have done it were we should go around the map collecting magazines to unlock different variant we have seen and they could have added dogmeat as a backbling
And they used the boring looking t60 power armor from fallout 4 , instead of the better looking t 50 or X1 power armor or the fact they kept using "the brotherhood of steel arrives " in promotion and then never let the brotherhood be relevant to the storyline
I never even heard of punkd quibi event in fornite before I can’t believe that the movie had no sound that makes it very intriguing even though the event sucked.
In my opinion, the best collab was the Avatar one, both the skins and the elemental scrolls were neat additions, i still wish you could use the scrolls in creative mode 😂
The DC comic with The Batman Who Laughs and Fortnite teased more DC stuff in the future but nothing happened for two chapters, great skins but wasted potential

The Tenet collab was pretty bad as well. If you don’t remember it was a little metal thing hidden underneath Steamy Stacks that made ambient noises.

they basically have no restrictions on what characters they'll add, as long as the part being added into the game is 12+, then they'll add it

I agree with you but especially since they put a black knight style on it it’s should have been an outcast power armor instead but not only that they should have done it were we should go around the map collecting magazines to unlock different variant we have seen and they could have added dogmeat as a backbling
I agree they could have done much more with the collab but this isnt a good argument on why it is the worst.
My friend is a Fallout fan and even he said they should’ve used the T45 or the ncr ranger armor instead
And they used the boring looking t60 power armor from fallout 4 , instead of the better looking t 50 or X1 power armor or the fact they kept using "the brotherhood of steel arrives " in promotion and then never let the brotherhood be relevant to the storyline

I never even heard of punkd quibi event in fornite before I can’t believe that the movie had no sound that makes it very intriguing even though the event sucked.
In my opinion, the best collab was the Avatar one, both the skins and the elemental scrolls were neat additions, i still wish you could use the scrolls in creative mode 😂
I would argue that the timtoker from the heist bp is the worst collab. And I highly doubt there will be a worse one in the future

That was literally the best collab in the chapter 3 season 2.
The DC comic with The Batman Who Laughs and Fortnite teased more DC stuff in the future but nothing happened for two chapters, great skins but wasted potential
I remember me and my brother did the Quibi event and I remember oddly there was massive teddy bears in risky reels that you could pick up and throw
I'm gonna be honest, I assumed the Doctor Who collab was canceled. Learning it actually happened and was extremely lackluster is just nuts to me.
Star Wars collabs got worse each year imo
and almost all the anime crossovers sucked
