Thanks for watching out! I know this is a private location, but hopefully it will give you some inspiration to go out and search for your own Crystals in your area or if you’re in New York in this area!!
@@lordeagle100 10-15k that he names in the vid is kind of bs, no one ever sells herks this quality for that much, hell the "window of opportunity" herk is now for sale at 15k and doesn't have any buyers, and its much nicer than these. The only herks that go for huge money are the old stock waterclears and the best of the best of these new skeletals from mowhawk area 52 and a few other small places.
Those are some incredible stones, how much did you guys pay for the week there including the excavator? How many of those stones did they let you keep if you were invited free for advertising the place? Have a ripper mate!
@@TheCrystalCollector Right!? It’s really wild seeing all the different types of Herks that come from the different regions from your classic Ace/Middleville water clear flawless floaters to the little falls area black stem scepters, to Fonda footballs and DDD to now these incredible Area 52 finds. They all are so unique and special in their own ways. I used to think some of the best mining was done decades ago. But after the last few seasons I’m blown away by what’s still to be discovered! I’ll see you out there, I got to dig alongside you a few days at Chads last year.
@@TheCrystalCollector You have a cool channel! hello, Crystal collector I subscribed! I have some minerals. Have you heard of magnet fishing? It's a fun hobby we find bizarre things with a magnet. I also, seen your vid on Megalodon teeth!
Should be retitled “Bryan and Shane Play in the Mud.” After my original comment when watching the Live dig - “Go Long, Bryan!” - all the other giant Herks looked like “Aww…isn’t that one cute!” even though they were still really big and beautiful! Before this series of digs, a “huge” Herk to me was about an inch and a half.
Wonderful, wonderful pieces!! I think the one you pulled at 13:25 was my favorite...simply amazing!! Also, I lost sound on your video from 24:41-25:07. Again, simply wonderful pieces...now I REALLY want to go out to NY to find some herbs myself!!
Amazing pieces! I love skeletal quartz, always super interesting to see. Though you can hardly call these Herkimer diamonds anymore as they look nothing like diamonds 😉
Digging it!!! I went for Herkimers in 2018, I think... and made it to Pierrepont for Dravites too! I'd never seen Skeletal before. Nice! I do say though, you may want to change the "North Carolina" reference in the description to "New York" 😉
@@ericharris893 it was wonderful. You need the coordinates from the collectors' book and landowner permission of course. The info is available in a thorough internet search as of about 5 years ago. I have no idea what the status of the site is today. I chose the forest spot by the stream. There are other species there too. I found a few personal prizes there, but they're all gone in the sands of time.
Those are the coolest Herkimers I have ever seen! I absolutely love the color. I was planning on going digging at the Mohawk Valley Mineral Mine, so do you have any tips? Of course, the Herkimers would be a lot smaller, but I would really appreciate some advice!
I'm very new to your channel, but these Herkimers are by far my favorite. They are such beautiful and unique crystals! I've loved rocks and crystals since I was very young and your channel has rekindled the passion for them! Do you know of any public places to go around the Houston, TX area? Love your videos brother! 👌😎👍 Whaaaaaaat!
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: Bryan, you look like you're in crystal heaven there! That is astonishing... sooo many biggins! I see the mine director "Matrix" was bossing in style with his luxurious bed! Ain't nothin' like crystal bearing mud , huh? ...It's a good dirty!
How would you like to do some harden County illinois flourispar crystals? Blues orange yellows and purples. We have a sweet spot you could do a great video on. Just let me know and I'll make it happen. Ty for all the great videos and for sharing your locations.
I used to like to go to ace. It’s too bad that they shut it down. I’m looking for a private location. Probably cheaper to buy a property of my own with the prices for a day dig.
Most of the time, I don't even think about the money, but with so many tens of thousands of dollars pulled out of the ground, I'm very curious about it. Does Area 51 guy own the land, and is letting you come make these fantastic pulls just out of generosity? Do you dig them out, and then buy them for a bit less than you'll eventually sell them for? Is it all just for the fun and the footage, and you have to give everything up at the end?
