I have been binge-watching the old TV series Highlander. I'm on season 3 now episode 4. Jim has been on the last few episodes but in this one he is playing and singing. I thought it looks like he's really playing and singing so I looked him up and so it is! What a great talent!

I've been a fan of Jim Byrnes since he played "Uncle" on Wiseguy back in the 80s!!!

Im just now barely watching wiseguys as we speak lol.. on season two its a great show.
I was a young punk in my teens total blues freak busking for a living in Victoria where I met Jim .He was so gracious and let me hang around him and his band when he played with "Down Town Kenny. Brown on guitar .I still play the blues and look to Jim as one of my mentors. Way to go Jim!

Loved Jim in Highlander. His contribution to Highlander The Source was unjustified. It made a mockery of his character.
Caught Jim's performance a few years ago at a music festival in Panorama, near Invermere, BC. Been listening to his music ever since. Great sound, Great band. His love of music is truly evident and all who listen are the beneficiaries of his craft

Saw him too ..he is amazing. Deserving of legend status...great stories...he knew so many superstars of music.

@@venusboys3 it is our childhood. The 1990s. Jurassic Park and the highlander on tv. Both were very influential and defined the 1990s for us. Im surprised that you missed it. How come?? It was on for a long time, from 1992 to 1998. Before the first jurassic park and ended after the second.
@@dreamthedream8929 highlander i watched some of it need to start over and finish it. I dont remember jim brynes in the highlander though.
@@cryptonator1988 Jim is in Highlander The Series. He comes into it during series 2. He plays Joe Dawson, a ‘Watcher’. Watchers are mortals who observe and record the activity of immortals.
