      That's impressive! The mileage too! I have a 2010 Yaris (the 100HP version) and although a little bland, I actually like my little car a lot. The seats fold all the way down so I've managed to transport all sorts of bulky stuff in it, including a 1.60m fridge, with the boot closed. 145.000 kms, and it's starting to consume a bit of oil unfortunately. But it still drives as smooth as the day I bought it.

    My experience of the Yaris was awesome. It’s a dream to drive, steering is awesome, interior is sexy, one of the best rear view mirrors and awesome all around. Mainly because it was an automatic and the hybrid version. I think with the newer automatic and the hybrid is where the Yaris shines.

    Hello. From 8 months I'm driving Fabia (2017) 1.0 with LPG. 99% trips are in city conditions (uber driver). I have to tell that this car is so good. Engine is good enough for city driving, no need more power. Best is fuel consumption around 6-6.5L LPG, 8-8.5L petrol (per 100km). Cant compare to other two but you did it :)

    I have the 2019 Fabia Combi 1.0 75hp petrol... It can be a bit under-powered sometimes but it makes up with great value, great fuel consumption and great equipment.
    I was thinking of going with the Ibiza but it was a bit over my budget and it didn't have that big boot that the Škoda has (530 liters)...
    What I would say are the drawbacks of Škoda are not a lot of room at the backseat and a 75hp engine is not for those who like to have a "sporty drive and response" and overtaking someone on the highway is reaaaaally slow... and it can be noisy in high revs.
    It's a daily driver for a small family (or a new family), great fuel economy and equipment and a great boot -> that is what I was going for.
    Great Video!

    • @pequenollama
      @pequenollama 6 лет назад +1

      I've got the same engine but not on the combi version. I think it is quite good. I do not like to drive fast (over the speed limit) and if you stick to it I find it powerful enough. When I have to overtake in secondary roads I just lower a gear for more power.
      At least here in Spain you can get a fully equipped Fabia for the same price as a bare bones Ibiza or polo.

    Yaris Hybrid. Comparing a small car on three adults in the back or three massive suitcases is a bit daft. It will usually get used for one or two adults in the front and one or two kids in the back. For that it's got plenty of space, the Hybrid has plenty of low down guts thanks to the electric motor, good mpg, it's not going to break anytime soon and it's got no silly distractions inside - it's just a car that works as a car.
    Have a look at used prices and you soon see which are the throw away after a few years cars and which is the one people will still pay for. On that point if you take in depreciation and all running costs the Yaris is way cheaper to own aswell.
    If you need to carry three adults or a rugby team's worth of luggage you should buy a car that's suited to it.

    • @kostasmats7922
      @kostasmats7922 5 лет назад

      Some people are on a budget and they don't want to overspend or they can't afford to buy a car that is suited for 3 adults or a rugby team, so VAG is spot on with the Ibiza as they can suit everyone from singles to families. The Yaris and the rest of the supermini class, except the Baleno as far as i know, are for singles or couples with no children or second family cars. I have the Ibiza with the 115bhp engine for 16 months now and i am totally satisifed with it, it is comfortable with the 185/65/15 tyres, i like the looks, the engine is punchy, fuel economy is more than descent, easy to drive for my wife's daily commute, we go on trips with our son,our dog and all our luggage, we pay low tax/year, it does everything very good, considering the price and my expectations, i knew what i was buying. If it turns out to be reliable, no problems so far,it will prove to be an excellent choice.

    Gf has a 2018 ibiza. If you can get along with DSG, it's a great car. Nippy, functional, quite spacious in the back, has all the bells and whistles, looks ok. I despise DSG with a passion though. It has a mind of its own and it pulls some weird shit sometimes. I really, really hate that. If you're looking into buying a car with DSG, consider renting it for a week or two. Seriously, it's that bad (for me) and you really gotta be sure if you want that. I drove a passat, golf, ibiza (duh) and it's not just the ibiza. The shifts are smooth no complaints there but same amount of gas/brake yield different results each time with the cars! Sometimes it pounces forward, sometimes it doesnt. Same applies for reverse. Sometimes you brake just a little and the car brakes itself twice as hard, stopping you abrubtly. Oh and the lane keep assist will try to kill you.
