How to Wrap Your Cat

For those with needy felines, here's how you can keep your cat from meowing for attention as you go about your household chores. This is adapted from the West Yorkshire Sling Library's online tutorial. They prefer to wrap babies instead, for some reason.

I actually plan on using this for one of my cats. I essentially have to sedate her in order to trim her claws, and she gets SUPER clingy when she's a bit loopy, this is going to come in handy. Thank you for posting!

This is absolutely adorable and perfectly informative! I’ve tried holding my cat in my sweatshirt during our nighttime “walks”, but she gets petrified and stupidly cocky, making containment difficult. This could be a wonderful solution, and super easy! No need to buy an expensive baby papoose or unnecessary accoutrement! Thank you!

My grin kept getting wider as I watched you shift him around multiple times and he was just CHILL! I envisioned my own cat in this situation and just how many times she would make an effort to abandon it all. I tried to make a sling 4 years ago, as one of my 4 licks her fur off, and calming meds did nothing, so I wanted to have her against my body for emotional comfort. I just couldn't make it happen. I will keep trying though. I have all materials for this in my home. somewhere.......
