      Can You make a video on how a BTech Student get into Cambridge University...It will be really nice of you Ellie ...As a junior from India I admire your work a lot. I am a Computer science student in a Tier-II college in India but have a dream to do research at Cambridge....your guidance will mean the world to me.😊

    I feel like parallel universes consist of the choices we didn't do in this world but did in other universe. So I would not have commented this in another universe.

    Concept of multiverse also explained in our Hindu mythology, but its good to see scientists actually researching on it and maybe in future we will find more information about it

    Assuming that multiple universes exist, and some matter interacts between universes, then the interacting parts of the universe will create a universe, while the non-interacting parts will not be detected like dark energy, and may even form dark energy. I think the current technological development is not enough to solve this problem.

    Please make a video on WBJEE question paper which is a state level engineering entrace exam in India. (For admission in government engineering colleges in the Indian state of West Bengal.)
    There are enormous number of questions to be solved in a very short amount of time which makes it challenging almost parallel to JEE (Advanced).

    Thanks for the video, Ellie. My philosophy is simplified in a sentence:
    “Our energy, no matter how minuscule, is out there as an entity, or a duplicate, in some other multiverse.”

    Thanks for the the video. A quantum mechanics book i like, in the sense of content related to development, interpretation, etc of it is 'quantum theory' by david bohm. It's an old book, so there may be lack of factual updations, but for conceptual understanding i think it's a good book, lies somewhere between philosophical and a standard textbook. Just sharing that also. Good luck with your studies 🙌❤

    I definitely beleive that the multiverse exists

  • @zostay23
    @zostay23 2 месяца назад

    As you say, a multiverse is not observable. It is therefore, not science, but metaphysics. It doesn't mean you're right or wrong, but it does mean you've entered the realm of faith and religion. Asserting it's very likely that there are multiple universes is tantamount to belief in God or gods. I have no problem with that. I only have a problem when this is described as scientific.

    I don't understand that about Schrodinger cats hypothesis .... If the cat is dead inside or may be alive then how the observer can decide that ? What is the reality it's .. how anyone's thaught may change the result...
    Suppose the cat is dead and before opening the box I thaught it's alive and when I open the box I see the cat alive... So how my thaught before opening may change the scenario. Please explain

    • @Anonymous-but-baffled
      @Anonymous-but-baffled 2 месяца назад

      The paradox arises because, in quantum mechanics, the act of observation itself seems to influence the outcome. This raises questions about the nature of reality and whether the cat's fate is determined before or after observation.
      If you thought the cat was alive before opening the box and then found it alive, it doesn't mean your thought changed the outcome. The cat's fate was already determined; your observation simply revealed the existing state.
      The thought experiment highlights the strange implications of quantum mechanics when applied to macroscopic objects. It's not about the observer's thoughts changing the outcome but rather the oddity of how observation itself seems to influence reality at the quantum level.

    If the universe is merely infinite it is the sense of measure. But if there are infinite parallel universes then it is both sense of measure and order.

    from my point of view. I think it has to do with probabilities. Suppose time stops while something happens Then an infinite number of possibilities could happen if Something changed.I believe that the idea of infinite universes does not exist and is something that has come and gone

    I don't disbelieve it, but with everything we know today, I think it's somewhat unlikely to create theoretical means that definitively support and validate this theory. The problem with quantum is this, it's all statistical tables and data, there's no physical thing to hold on to and everything is based on calculations and intuition and statistical models, this left Albert Einstein shocked. He himself stated this based on documentaries.
    "I can't believe God plays dice"
    I agree with Einstein without discrediting quantum mechanics, for everything it must be something exact or close to determinism!
