Plus, it's a great song for beginners to advance their playing a little bit, so it's a bit of a shame to choose the easy (or easier) way. Only problem is that he tuned it down half a step for the recording so you can't really play along unless you do the same.

Drake Bell style of music is a hybrid of Beatles guitar playing with a modern rock sound. I tried learning his songs and it is tough to grasp. If you can master jazz music, you won't have a problem with Drake Bell.

He played a barre chord on the 7th fret. so in tabs that would be E 7 A 9 D 9 G 8 B 7 E 7 but you can also play it on the second fret like: E X A 2 D 4 G 4 B 4 E 2

Thanks. I learnt to play the version with the chords higher up on the neck. Then I noticed that Drake uses all the chords down 4,5,6 frets down for each of the chords but he plays E major in the chorus high up on the neck. It's really annoying because when you play it high up on the neck it's fairly easy and still sounds good but cos I'm a perfectionist I want to get it exactly right and it is so hard to play it the way he does. You have to press so hard on the strings that it hurts my hand!
@flujuv the Numbers are the frets, 556775 means 'e in 5th fret, B in 5th fret, G on 6th fret, D in 7th, A in 7th and E in 5th. all tabs are like that, if you get your fingers on those places and strike down/up it's the chord Drake plays. for when you have to change you can use this vid and your ears,, in the beginning it'll sound like crap, you have to practise but it's not that hard..
