My buddy wanted to go because he's an AC/DC diehard and my jaw literally dropped when he sent me the ticket prices. The nosebleed "cheap" seats were 150 bucks after fees. I was like, no way am I paying that, are you kidding me.
I am really wanting to see AC/DC in Tampa, cause it's likely my first and only ever chance, so I hope those ticket prices goes "down, down, down, down" before May 16.
If someone doesn't like the ticket prices, simply don't go to the concerts. Prices for everything have gone up. We certainly are never going to see ten dollar tickets again. Last concert I went to, I had to shell out an extra $45 for garage parking to assure my car was safe in the city. Personally, the expense these days is definitely not worth it. I have more important priorities than seeing old rock bands try to relive their glory days by playing inferior versions of their old hits..
Just a heads up... Received a message on facebook. It looks as though Motley Crue is doing a Residency in Las Vegas. March 28 through April 19th. Should make for some interesting content. VIP packages start at $ 2,829.00 per person.
Dave, you're amazing and I'm so glad you're on here again. As far as AC/DC, perhaps $30.00 a ticket max including parking., Yes!!!! Anything higher, nope! Thanks my friend.
I saw AC/DC one time. In 1979 with Bon Scott as lead opening for Aerosmith(who sucked btw). They were awesome! We didn't really know much about them but they blew Aerosmith off the stage. Back then we paid probably 7 bucks to see that. Last concert I went to was 2017 or 18 to see Skynyrd with Bad Company. It was around $150. I'm done seeing these big name bands. I'm priced out.
Oh and Axl might not be available next year. Guns and Roses just announced dates for Europe and other countries. About the same time AC/DC will be touring.
Razors Edge was the last tour they had the energy. I saw them on Ballbreaker, and they were noticeably slower from the Live at Donnington. It still was a dynamite show, don't get me wrong, but every tour since Razors Edge, they have lost a step. Die hard AC/DC fan, but based on the videos I saw of the last tour, they really need to hang it up. Truth hurts.
Good to see you back. And good to see the comments are open.

Saw headliner Ted Nugent opening bands AC/DC and Scorpions in 1979 for $8.75

I'm gonna see AC/DC in Nashville TN for their PWR⚡️UP Tour! Nowadays, tickets are virtual. And got mine from seatgeek.
