"if female dwarves dont exist, where do we come from?" I mean that female gnome complimented your beard and physique I think its pretty obvious where they come from.
I've only encountered 3 types of dwarf players, First and for most chill adults that respect other people and are extremely friendly that don't want to do anything else besides of helping other people. Secondly the people whom fell in love with the LOTR and want to portray dwarfs like Gimli etc because they want to feel like they are part of their favorite movie or something. Thirdly the edgy young adult or child who want to portray themselves as muscular and physically fit, the beard is a big + too. Their behavior is unbearable, trying to find any excuse to give you hateful comments or call you a kid. Because playing a old man with a beard makes you a adult of course XD
I'm that first guy.... I main a Dwarf Paladin since Vanilla and my favorite thing was to cast Blesses on people or help them on Quests with Healing. No one cares about it anymore though. Basically all classes have some kind of Heal or sustain and no one needs help. I miss being helpful to random people :( ....
That changes completely once you get to dark iron dwarves which I have learnt is all about shitposting. While leveling a dark iron monk if there was another dark iron in a dungeon group we would just spam /roar and /silly the entire dungeon
@@Owlsnerf To be fair, dark iron have some of the best jokes in the game. The "passionate fellow" and the "what, too soon?" jokes always crack me up, no matter how often I hear them. The delivery is just perfect!
@@vtr0104 If you tried vanilla again then you could experience it again. I myself tried it when it came back and I must say people are generally nicer there then in retail. Must have to do with almost all aspects of the game is harder XD
@@Owlsnerf Well when the dark iron came out a lot of the alliance paladins etc turned into dark iron because of their racial being highly effective in PVP. Lot's of other classes joined in too,, and I mean dark iron players are not that different from normal dwarfs just other types of bigger beards :D

I like how one of the comments talks about how dwarves are “intelligent” and “can solve problems on their own” when they literally were too stupid to team up against the invading Zandalari and Varian Wrynn had to come in and solve the problem for them.
My Theory is that Female Dwarves feel way more comfortable in their towns and family and aren't that intrigued for that Adventure Life, meanwhile going and explore the world is something almost every Young Dwarf grows for. Obviously this is only a Over Generalization and the exceptions strength my theory.
As someone who plays only female dwarves, I see some of us running around. But not many. Enjoyed the RP part as a reporter, laughed so much I cried a little.
In the context of their being so few female dwarves, my female dwarf character’s backstory of being a half-dwarf because her mother, a female dwarf, married a human male is hilarious
It's funny that when WoW came out, female dorfs were called fat and ugly. Well now that society has shifted to this thicc obsession, you see wayyyyy more. I remember during OG vanilla you could probably count the number of female dorf mains on my server on 1 hand.
Also. I Really wish that there was a group of dwarfes that managed to hide from the plague of flesh and stayed in their pure rock form and that they were a race that needed a character at a certain level. Would be cool as hell and i would play as one 100%
Ah yes, reminds me of roleplaying Jorgan Walkingbeard, Archaeologist and adoptive father of a young gnome mage. Also a gun enthusiast that every time his archaeology guild met was like " Yeah, but have you ever blown an orc's kneecaps out with a shotgun? " God do I miss Jorgan, That was all the way back in Cata and MoP and he is still one of my most fondly remembered characters. Plus when anybody talks about having good facial hair a dwarf comes out of nowhere while the Pillar Men Theme plays.
