Bro, I want to do something similar but on a JDM Integra DC5 automatic, is it possible for it to run without any problem if I use the OEM K24A ECU which is also automatic? By the way, the engine swap includes the K24A rbb3 engine with automatic transmission, harness, OEM ECU and fuse box
@Rarewitit this is exactly what I'm working on right now! Question, on my K24A2 I'm putting in I did the Type S oil pump and 50degree VTC, can the stock Type S ECU run it OK with the 50degree VTC or should I watch out for getting on it too hard without some kind of tune?
If you're using the RSX ecu becareful as it will run hella lean once in vtec. It'll detonate inside the block and cause your engine to smoke. I highly highly highly suggest ktuner, cheaper, or kpro. You really need this can't stress this enough

Jdm k24 is k24a2 just from Japan , throwing a k20 head on the tsx block won’t be faster it’s the same thing , just need 50 degree vtc and type s oil pump kit , stock Ecu can run any setup
I have a project car and is Acura rsx type s 2003 but is the shell , I already find the engine and bout to buy it but I have a question The manual transmission 6 speed from tsx will fit or it have to be only the rsx
@@XenomorphLV426 you'll run VERY lean once vtec cracks. It'll cause detonation. I ran a stock ECU on my k24setup and it started smoking from the tail pipe, and I didn't crack vtec often and reliably which sucked

were you able to keep the ac and heating? I can’t seem to find a ktuned system for it but maybe the stock lines fit with the k24 in there
Everything fits all stock no mods ac and ps work

I’ve never done a automatic set up before , but I’m sure it should work if you can get the Ecu programmed to turn on

Oh it's an 02 or 03 RSX. You need kpro then

Yea I’ve had them pass smog , swap is usually 3200 installed with motor labor and parts

Did you vacuum the ac system or just let all that fly out? Perfect timing im finally swapping my rsx but im stuck on what to do with the ac
I just let it out , you usually vacuum the system when your about to recharge it to make sure you get the max Freon
Have you tried dropping the whole subframe to roll out the engine from the side

Do not run that with a base ecu. He runs his sometimes with the type S ecu. The map is at least close on those.

Will I have any problems if I just run k24 accessories instead of k20(water pump housing, ac, ps)
Nothing will bolt up ac and power steering will not work
