- I don't typically upload lip-synched performances, but this is such a rarely heard song that I couldn't resist. "It's Gotta Be That Way" from the Neither One Of Us lp.
In my humble opinion, Gladys Knight is the greatest female singer I have ever heard. I thought so from the very first time I heard her and I still believe it to this day. She combines passion, emotion, uniqueness, and talent to completely mezmerize her listeners. Once you hear Gladys Knight, you can never forget her and that voice.

In my opinion, Gladys Knight is the greatest singer ever. She takes any song and make it fit her voice. Most other singers chose a song that is suited to their voice. She's in a class by herself.
I completely agree with you. I've been listening for jazz, blues and soul all my life and I admire a great deal of singers, but Gladys Knight, for me, is the best.
My favorite female singer of all time!! Her songs seem to speak to me in a way no other female singers do. I love this woman and she's a good person too. Met her once and she couldn't have been more sweeter and accomodating.
My mom was actually sweatin' me to find this song for the last two hours. I'm the reason she even remembers the song in the first place. The nerve of her ( I know). Now she can't even get her fingers to do the walking, and find this video she has been aggravating me about. I LOVE her sooo much, it doesn't matter, she's my momty!!!!!!!

should of bought the album back in 1971 believe me ther were no shortages of albums at all. I still have all of my albums in mint cond.Time just have moved on and you can get alot of this off I tunes.
It's a shame a lot of classic Motown albums are out-of-print. This tune is on the Neither One Of Us album.
