  • Samixa Shah, a retired pharmacist and wellbeing coach, was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer in May 2012. She had always made self-care and wellbeing a priority in her life and this became even more important after the cancer diagnosis.
Samixa used her coaching skills to help manage her wellbeing during treatment. Samixa went back to work as a wellbeing coach on a phased
return after 7 months. She completed her diploma in Wellness Coaching Skills and continued to work until the end of 2014.
Samixa spoke at Ovacome's London Health and Wellbeing Day in March 2023 and gave our community advice on looking after their emotional wellbeing through their cancer treatment and beyond.
