IIRC, it's not getting warmer in general, it's that the northern hemisphere is heating up whilst the southern hemisphere is cooling, just the amount of sensors in the northern hemisphere squews the results due to observation bias.
Depends on what’s causing the warmth. There’s a difference between a planetary cool or warm period vs accidentally igniting some of the major coal deposits in the world to trigger a runaway effect. Too much CO2 and other greenhouse gases and you end up with too warm of a planet which in turn releases more CO2 unwillingly from more coal deposits that are triggered by the warming atmosphere, which in turn warms the planet, which in turn releases more CO2, then you potentially end up with a second Venus, and no, you won’t survive temperatures that melt lead. Granted, it doesn’t seem possible, but all it takes is the planet getting just a little too warm to trigger it. Theoretically you can also trigger the opposite by devising a system to capture said CO2, therefore causing a planetary cooling. Honestly if that became possible on a worldwide scale then we’d never even need to worry about climate change in the first place as all we would need to do is counteract any dangerous changes

Or we finally stop being dumb as a species and think "If we're running out of resources on this planet, you know where there's more resources? Other planets." Our society still operates like the world is a Zero-Sum game, when it's been a Positive-Sum game for centuries at this point(Zero-Sum Game refers to a state where you cannot gain more resources without someone else losing resources.) If we stopped infighting as a species and maybe, I don't know, shifted all of the money we spend on the military, into funding space infrastructure, we could probably at least partially colonise the moon and Mars, as well as start asteroid mining, by the end of the century.

This was an excellent story and your narration of it was excellent as usual!

Great story. Great narration. Really enjoyed this one. Thanks.

Damn this is a good one! Very uplifting and reassuring
Have you paid any attention to what goes on in the world lately, or to the politics in Washington, DC? Not a whole lot of anything reassuring in that.

Yeah but the planet isn't as fragile as the green lobby would like us all to believe, and humans, well, we're the most adaptable creatures on earth.
