something I've forgot to mention: This cabinet is PERFECT for recording. 1 speaker, no horn, no distractions. It was a piece of cake to mix the sounds in this video, it all sounds very natural from the beginning.
I'm really glad to see a major mfg adding some great, smaller cabs. Not everyone is playing concert stages. I play all the time, but mostly at wine bars and restaurants where we are mostly contributing to the ambiance and not trying to peel the paint off the wall. One of these cabs would be perfect for what I do.
€999 on Thomann for a single 10" speaker. What a ridiculous ripoff. Yes, Aguilar make some quality gear, but that is ridiculous. The sound isn't any better than the next 1x10 you can get on that website. This is paying for a name and nothing more.
Quite amazing that the world of Bass speakers and amps is getting smaller and smaller, back in the 1990's bass My Bass rigs consisted of 1x15 and 4x10 Galaen Kruger amp driving the quad box and a 500 watt power amp driving the 15"EV. Nice and loud when needed but so heavy.
Super cool Aguilar 10" cabinets with fantastic tone... and Frank sounds better than ever! I had been considering an Aguilar DB112 cabinet, but does anyone know if their 12" speakers also utilize similar ceramic magnets?
bei thomann kostet die trace elliot 1x10 weniger als ein drittel, wiegt nur ca 7,5kg und hat 300 watt belastbarkeit? da hat aguilar einen schweren stand. preislich einfach zu weit drüber, sorry.
So, I happen to have both and use them together - the Aguilar is a more even, broad frequency that I would use for more all around stuff. The barefaced is definitely louder and has more midrange, but without a tweeter the frequency cutoff is fairly low - even with the tone wide open on my bass, it stays pretty dark. The two together are shockingly loud and wide range, though!
@@Julesplaysbass Nice - sounds like a cool setup. I prefer a darker tone and normally turn off tweeters, so I'm glad to hear your description of the two, especially after selling my Aguilar SL212 last month to afford ordering a Barefaced Six10.
For half of that price you can buy a Barefaced One10 which is lighter, has more sensitivity and has a lower low frequency cutoff. Sorry, but the Aggie is just way overpriced for what it is.
Ich finde deine Videos klasse, informativ und lehrreich. Aber dein English -"is not the yellow from the egg" - fällt mir wirklich schwer hinzuhören! Ansonsten: Weiter so!!!! 👍👍👍👍

FRANK’S bass face is LEGENDARY
Frank Itt crushing it as usual
That does sound really good. Thank you for sharing. I still have my Aguilar SL410x Antique Ivory. Sounds great, and looks good too. Cheers!

Frank nailing it as usual ❤
These seem very nice! Jazz Bass + Tone Hammer = 🤩👍

Absolutely true but in the end who cares, it's a free market, go buy what fits you.
Waaaaayyy too much for a 1x10!
I agree. The head, however, is absolutely worth the used prices
More than double the cost of a Barefaced One10! Wow!
Agreed. Even if I'm a Glockenklang fan, Hartke does the job for almost any gig/home/concert. 1k for a 10"...
I'll say this - they (plus the Tonehammer) have serious character, and I think that's been missing from a lot of recent releases
Frank is the best. What a cute cab.
This opening bass line is is a menace 😍💥
that bassgroove with mutes is so killing! and of course aguilar sounds good ;-)
Speaking of compact bass rigs, I'd love to see a review of the EBS 1x15 combo!

Sound great! Did you record with both cabs daisy chained together or was only a single one used?
Only the lower one was connected
Freedom kilos!😂
I need one

Just want to say thank you, Gregor, for giving us American viewers the weight in freedom kilos.
Please review Barefaced cabs.
Would love to see that. Pretty sure their 1x10 would annihilate the Aguilar.

@@jxorz6013 I’m curious how you like it! if my little 1x10 is any indication, that 6x10 is going to be beastly in the best way
@@Julesplaysbass Order is in queue now, but I'll come back once the cab arrives. Definitely expecting beastly results 👍
FREEDOM KILOS LMFAOOOOO
Gregor, you guys have not shown ay Sadowsky MJ or Warwick basses, event hough they're made in Germany. Please review!!!
Please send this question to Warwick. I’d love to review them but they say they’re already doing their own videos
I will email HP Wilfer. How can he best reach you?@@basstheworldofficial
Can I use this speaker cabinet with the Aguilar tone Hammer 500 amp?
Of course
Somehow this even sounds good (okay, acceptable) on my telephone's speaker and I don't think I have to thank Aguilar for that
The only bass guitar full range 1x10 that's worth this much is a Fitzmaurice Jack ))
nice but that yamaha bass needs a vid
Not buying it; sounds too good to be true.

Nope need eyeball rattling infrasonic brown notes
Aguilar is overpriced. Both amps and cabs.
