Am I right that you can actually add your own code (I mean code that controls the senor that you added) to the Marlin and then you can connect sensor to the RAMPS like you did it there? Instead of calling G-code from Pronterface you can call it from the Firmware and then you can for example force the printer to pause/stop the print by calling M-code?
Hello! If I want pin 57 to always stay on when I start marlin and with the custom gcode turn it off, what should I do? How do I reverse the pin? Thank you!
Well possible yes, easy initially no. You would need create a menu option in the firmware. As for one already existing you would have some work to do. My guess if I would be doing this is to find existing menu functionality and modify it to start. Good luck.
+MyClass depends on your available digital pins. I've not tested other places, but you could try AUX2 or another place. Keep in mind the pins I used the row above in my AUX1 pins did not work, so you would need to experiment. If the LED lights up before setting the digital pin to high might mean to try another digital pin when.the Arduino 2560 has power via the USB serial cable. Hope this helps. If it doesn't let me know the pins you have free and I'll experiment until I can find a working alternative connection
L lair pinouts diagram for Ramps 1.4. but M43 sounds like the gcodes for a command. P means pin and number. As for equality between the two I'm not sure I understand the question. M43 is the gcode for a command.
Thanks a million for sharing your knowledge in such a simple language!
Great video eds, is it possible to connect the LED directly to 5V AUX output?
Not sure, I would need to check.

Correct.

I want to control the LED brightness variably, but I don't know how.
Let me know.
Obrigado
de nada.
That's really great ! Do you have the possibility to do the same for RGB LED ? And if possible not use the screen pin as Thomas Sanladerer did ?
As soon as the part arrives.
Edward Braiman Awesome Thanks!
Do you know the part name or number? I'll need to order it and figure it out.
Edward Braiman you only need rgb light strip
Is it possible to control this through the reprap full graphics smart controller? I don’t really wanna open pronterface to control this every time!

just connect through your power supply also ok..if you want it to be like that.
Where would you connect this if you have an external thermister connected to Aux 1?

What do you mean by amount if power 200? What does the 200 stand for?
+matery88 the power rangers for the gcode is between 0 and 255. This is related to between 0 and 5 volts. So 200 is close to 4 volts.
why do you know that M43 = P57?
