    hi. thanks. what should we do if we want 2 extruder and 4 fan and bed and SF at the same time. (In fact, what should be done in this complicated situation?
    Can you please post a video for us in this regard.
    How can it be expanded?
    thanks.

    I have a question at the point. As I understand, I can use D8, D9 or D10 for laser beam. But some lasers have 3 wire. How can I make my connection in such as situation? Thank you very much.

      I've not installed a laser, but suspect one is voltage, ground and signal for wiring. Unfortunately I avoid showing lasers to to visual issues it can cause and off gases.

    I am getting 12v on the D9 pin but how do I get higher voltage out, like 20v or more since I read that the pin supports DC out 12-35v? Please advise. Thanks!

    • @EdwardBraiman
      @EdwardBraiman  5 лет назад

      Sounds like it's the correct reading. Are you using a 12v power supply? I've never run the RAMPS 1.4 on any other voltage only for fear of cooking a components that can only handle 12 volts. I'm guessing the silk screen on the board reads 12/24 volts? I think there is a a wiki on modification of the RAMPS 1.4. I'll see if I can find a link later today. Which RAMPS board flavor are you running?

      @@EdwardBraiman Thanks for the response :) Much appreciated! Yes I am powering my board with 12v power supply using a repurposed PC SMPS unit. I have the same RAMPS 1.4 version. I might need more than 12v output on the D9 pin but I am not sure if that's adjustable. My confusion is primarily because the RAMPS image here cdn.instructables.com/FNN/YJ9V/I9UDZTWP/FNNYJ9VI9UDZTWP.LARGE.jpg says D9 can go anywhere between 12-35VDC. Or is it that in order to get 20V out I need to supply 20V in?? :o

    • @EdwardBraiman
      @EdwardBraiman  5 лет назад +1

      Yeah I understand the documentation is a little clear for 12-24 volts, but I stick to 12 volts to avoid cooking anyones set up. thanks.

      Possible reasons it's not working include bad wiring connection, broken thermistors or wire.

I mean actually I´m using pin 3 for dir and pin 2 for step, how do I know which pins use for example X axis in the ramps

    I'm using Ramps 1.4 and everything work just fine including motors but I'm not getting any output voltage from D8, D9 and D10 pins which are used for heat bed, hotend and fan. Any suggestion and help from your side?

    Edward merhaba. 1.4 ramps üzerinde A4988 motor sürücüsü var. Isıtıcı yatak aşağı inerken belli bir noktada yaklaşık 1 mm düşüyor. Motor sürücüsünün voltajını kaç v yapmalıyım? teşekkür ederim.

      resoldered bed connection , reconnected bed with ramps.
      Bed thermistor works fine, Checked it with hot gun.
      Thing is.Even if u dont make a connection in any D's(D8,D9,D10)
      The red led on ramps will still glow, when u set the temp.
      For me its glowing with extruder(D10) , fan(D9). But not with Bed(D8).

    Hi Edward, many thanks, again awesome explained as I asked myself a few days back how to connect those according to the configuration. Very helpful again for me. *Thumbs up* One question remains: If I am considering to use two hotends and a heated bed where should I connect the hotend fans and the part cooling fans as D10, 9, and 8 are already used. For the hotend fans I could just connect them directly to the power supply but where should I connect the part cooling fans and how to configure Marlin being able to conlrol them ? Truly I am using google to search but not all videos / information provided by google are trusfully, therefore I am asking you :-). I am asuming the AUX connectosr needs to be used ?
