Il s'agit du mot "Peephole" que l'on traduit par "œil de bœuf" (the beef's eye) en français (ceci n'est pas de l'argot, l'expression est très communément utilisée), c'est une petite lucarne ou ouverture ronde ou ovale dans un mur ou une porte permettant de regarder à l'extérieur sans être vu. Dès fois, on peut entendre ou lire "oculus" mais ce dernier est plutôt un mot guinder (littéraire ou snob). Again, thanks for all and all by best wishes.
Well, I totally feel the same way with their saying that "the best way to defend yourself is to run away !" As a matter of fact, there is an old saying in China 🇨🇳 , that is to say, "the last and the safest way, technically the 36th one, of the art of war by a certain local monarch of old China is none other than fleeing, decampment, or escaping !" But, in my opinion 🤔, it seems like the 36th one wasn't the best way, but just the last resort .... 💦😱🥵😅🤕
