The sea acts as an insulation blanket. It's why islands such as the UK tend to have neither extremes of hot or cold. Water cools and heats at a different rate to land. So in winter, the sea keeps a country warmer and in summer it cools it.
Just a quick comment from an American: we do have paid maternal leave, there's just not a federal mandate for it. It's guaranteed by p much every company that you DO get maternal leave, and most companies and states will give paid maternal leave. Obv there are those who do not, but it's a touch unfair to say we do not have any paid maternal leave, when in fact we do. Just like I said, it's not necessarily required by federal law, which means its a bit more maliable than other places. Also I personally think that it *should* be federally mandated, but atm that's just not how it stands here.
@@WelshASMR82Maps You're perfectly welcome! :D It's confusing enough for all of us here, I hardly expect anyone outside the US to know the "terms and conditions" I suppose you could call them Edit: And I suppose the map isn't TECHNICALLY incorrect, which doesn't help either haha
People don’t think about “leave” the same. Get “paid time off” and vacation time. I earn 15 days per year, they shut down AND PAY US for two more weeks per year, 10 holidays off and paid, and two weeks of pid family medical leave. All in all I could be off work for 9 weeks paid. That’s 45 days per year in the USA.
Argentina see it as theirs and often print it on maps and things as such. I did my degree in Spanish and we had an entire semester studying the Falklands War
@@WelshASMR82Maps Indeed Argentina does, i just find it weird that even after they attempted to invade, failed, even after the Falklands voted to remain apart of the uk, its still somehow a popular opinion in Argentina that its theres 🤔
Switzerland is brilliant country they are always neutral they horde all the gold and make great chocolate plus they have a very difficult area to conquer
Lol Texans view Oklahomans as a little brother. I would guarantee most Texans least favorite state is California since they are all moving here and making real estate expansive.
It's 4 am and I can't sleep cause my throat hurts...Thankfully I found the right video 😇
I hope it helped!
I feel like you would be a great voice actor for audio books, great works as always :)
Wow, thank you! Such a compliment!
@@WelshASMR82Maps I agree, your voice sounds similar to a man named Nicolas Briggs who works on Audiobooks for the sci-fi show Doctor Who!
Unfortunately for us Americans, we get about 5 “sick” days and 15-20 “ vacation” days, none of which have pay.
5 sick days??? Omg 😱 I'd get through that by March 😭
Damn that’s tuff
My sick days get me paid
*bald eagle calls* MERICAAAA YEAAAAAA LAND OF THE GUNS AND OVERWORKED PARENTS!!!!!
where do you work that offers no sick time or PTO?????
You popped up in my recommendations yesterday. You've jumped into my top 5 ASMR creators. Thank you!

Ah, thanks! These maps are a little misleading it seems, but thanks for the clarification!

Amazing 🫶
unfortunately 182cm is actually 5ft11.6, not to spoil anything aha
Nooooooooooo
Most jobs have maternal leave in the states but it’s not mandated.
Came here to comment this. Most decent employers will provide it in the US. Should definitely be standardized though
6 foot 2??
Indeed man sais 182 is 6 foot 2 while it actually is 5 foot 9

Oh, that is way different then. Thx!
Portugals average month salary is 1100 euros. A 1 bedroom apartment in Lisbon is 850.
That's an expensive apartment 🤯 do people have to live in the outskirts?
24:28 they didnt dare put down the falklands as argentinan, as a brit, that deeply annoys me
they all voted to remain apart of the uk as of 2013 so its weird that argentina is still so obsessed over controlling it

The ivory coast actually doesn't go by that name anymore. It's officially Cote D'Ivoire, even in English.
Greetings from Iwerddon. Hoping you'll join us on the independence map too in the near future. Cymru am byth!

Poor Oklahoma 😅
Unlike what people would like to believe, Slovenia is in fact not in Argentina but in the UK
What is the average rent in Yerevan in Armenia?
No clue but it can't be that expensive, surely
12:11 they forgot Hong Kong
Watching from Poland at 196.5 😅 (I'm 15 which is quite scary)
i’ll tell you a secret…

Malvinas Argentinas 💋💋
You fancy the Dutch girls ? Hahaha

Liked the Asmr Video, but I'd doubt that some of those Info Graphs are actually accurate
omg 100% they are nonsense! lol

I Don’t think most of these maps are true
Totally agree! Some of them are completely laughable!
Hong Kong gained independence in 1997
