No we are not. The are tens of millions of English Irish Scots Welsh blooded folk in north America and Australasia. If everyone lives in their own lands, the natives would be the majority in their own lands. Look at Ireland. The majority of global Irish stock live outside of Europe and claim lands in north America and Australasia as theirs and their offsprings birthright over people of those lands and region. Ireland itself has a tiny native population.
So how do these people live when they come in to the country. Presumably they do not get benefits. Medical care should be paid for as well if your not a legal resident.
Typically illegal migrants who make it into the country don't have a passport on them, they are usually held at asylum seeker centres and then starts a long processing period. I presume illegal migrants if elligable are either intergrated into the country and given a visa or british passport, or deported for various reasons. Because of the increase in numbers the government had to hold people in 'hotels' through lack of space, they are no means living in luxury like people claim. They are entitled to basic healthcare, food and water and clothes etc because that is a human right but their lives are restricted whilst they being processed for numerous reasons.
Not saying I agree, but if we have a lazy generation, then we only have our upbringing to blame. However, we have a demographic shift creating an aging population, changing the number of people needed in health and care. Unfortunately, to not damage growth in other areas of the economy, the decision has been made to have higher immigration for this and similar purposes.
The new generations are not lazy they’re still trying to qualify for a job, that boomers could apply for at 15. But at the end of the day probably won’t have the luxury of owning their own houses.

In discussing the challenges of illegal migration, it’s important to acknowledge both the historical sacrifices made to protect British borders and the complexity of today’s migration issues. The legacy of those who fought to keep our nation safe compels us to address this topic thoughtfully, in a way that honors their dedication and the values they defended. The current system of handling illegal migration does indeed face significant obstacles. The journey many migrants undertake often involves great personal risk and substantial financial cost-at times exceeding the cost of a legal route-only to arrive and enter a drawn-out process that strains resources and challenges community stability. The backlog in application processing not only creates long-term uncertainty but often places these individuals in a limbo where work and integration are hindered, sometimes fostering pathways to crime or exploitation. It’s clear that streamlining and reinforcing the immigration process could greatly benefit both migrants and the nation. Reforms could help ensure that Britain remains a place of fairness, compassion, and strength while preserving the security and resources our society depends on. However, these changes require decisive leadership and a commitment to practical, balanced policies. What’s at stake here goes beyond today’s challenges; it’s a matter of honoring the memory and sacrifices of those who defended Britain’s values. Ensuring that the process for entry is secure, fair, and timely is not just a logistical goal-it’s a moral imperative to respect the nation’s legacy and protect its future.
With UK's current situations, UK needs to up it's workforce by opening completely the labour integration of international students and incentivze businesses to hire more international students to fill up the never filling vacancies. And do so by lowering the skilled working visa salary threshold to £23000 pounds. This will make sure more international students will be able come and fulfill the job vacancies and thus generate economic growth along with more tax revenues for the gov making the Brits getting more money for their social security incomes. One thing the gov does have to do is increasing the housing numbers so that the living costs are down as well. This will finally help UK get out of the slum. This means the far right who is happy to be poor at the cost of no immigration, will have to be happy being rich through the labour of the immigrants working for them. But here migration of international students and their integration to the labour force is important and the reduction of illegal migrants from countries deemed as safe needs to be stopped.

Spot on. About 1.5 million adults of working age are not working. These gaps need to be filled up, hence visas and then the migration.
Look at the cost required to train for many of these healthcare related jobs. It's utterly astronomical and means agreeing to a lifetime in debt.
