LeafSol follows Leafpool as she has her kits, however Crowfeather decides to join the Clan and disguises as the father alongside Squirrelflight as the mother. (Brambleclaw does not exist in this AU. This will be covered later.) Leafpool makes a horrifying discovery as she realizes her she-kit, Hollykit, has a dangerous power... and as Hollyleaf realizes the truth, she abuses this power, causing Leafpool to fall under a rage. Leafpool finds Midnight, using the badger's knowledge and manipulating it, killing the badger, out to seek revenge, unaware that she will later regret it.
