How are the controls on the phone version? Part of me wants to save money and the other part might die if I have to wrestle with tiny buttons on the screen hahahah
Oh my gosh, I was addicted to Adventure Bar Story, so I'm pretty hyped about this Why did they put like 16 bit sprites in a 3D environment tho? That's so funny XDDD Now I have to decide if I want to get it for $7 on phone, or if I want physical buttons on the switch for an extra $7 on sale...
Thanks for reviewing a lesser known game like this. Might not get many views spending your time on this type of content but you just got my Sub and a Like so keep em coming. Cant wait to play this gamewhen it goes on sale but I cant justify Kemco going from $10 3ds games, to $15 Switch games and now testing the waters with a $25 Switch game. I must say the gameplay is different then most of their run of the mill jrpg type games and graphics are looking better and better but alot of these games are free on ios/android.
I have two main question when it comes to this game, can you fail due to amount of time taken. Basically if i wish to do a less efficient method and just take my time grinding some stuff out will i suddenly lose due to some kind of time restraint like needing to make X amount of money in X amount of days? Second what happens when a character falls in battle, do they just need to recovery over time or are they back immediately for the next battle, and what happens if they all fall?
they made a successor to this titled Blacksmith of Sand Kingdom. i have very brief 15 minutes or so gameplay starting from the very first boss fight you ever get.
Interesting. There is a Nintendo sale and I'm going through my wish list and watch reviews from games I'm interested in and this is the third Video I'm wachting from you. Good work! Very informative Videos and they helped me to decide which game to buy.
Pretty much. Finding ingredients and mix them together to improve your alchemy (for Atelier) knowledge. I would say MTS is more focused on profit, and that Atelier has a more advanced crafting system (at least the games I've played).
Although this is a next level step on the image of Kemco (with the mix in graphics), the concept and style of the game isn't entirely new. before mt:pathg there was adventure bar story (majorly 2d game by Kemco) and it plays similarly just like mt:pathg.
Around 20 hours, though I will admit I got a bit tired of the grind for getting sales towards the end, so if you kept up dungeon-crawling all to the end, might be more around 25 hours, but still under 30, considering there isn't a whole lot of post-game stuff to do.
I'm not sure how this video really ends, I stopped it when the ending was being talked about. I don't think a review should ever mention anything about the ending and I don't want even a tiny bit of it spoiled. Whether solid or lacking.
I'm going to start using "possessed by the god of poverty" as an excuse from now on.
AS A PSA, THIS IS ACTUALLY A MOBILE PORT. The game still looks cool, but it runs just as well on phones and it’s only 7 BUCKS THERE!
highly appreciated comment

This is like Adventure Bar Story

Kemco is becoming more versatile. This interests me. If they add some budget to their development costs they could be an RPG monster.
And then 1 year later, their rpg is still the same thing over and over again.
Because it's a bad game and they are not devlopers of that game they are just publisher.😂😂😂😂
I just saw this game on PSN and I thought it was interesting but $19.99! I rather put $20 towards something else.
tgb869 You can get it on an iPhone for 7 bucks. Exact same game
get the bloodborne or dark souls 3 DLC instead
You also get the free version on mobile just to see if it's a game you like. It should be out on both ios and android.
Looks interesting but I still have to beat Fernz Gate. Maybe I'll check it out when it goes on sale!
The random battles are a bit high, but other then that..a charming game

I also am waiting for rune factory for switch, i have hope
Re:legend is supposed to come out this year, very rune factory inspired. I'm looking forward to it
They just released a statement saying they at making the next rune factory for the switch.

@@AKABoondock19 Actual exploration, Less repetition in dialogue, Decent storyline, Fighting monsters that isn't forced, Motivation to explore
thanks for the honest review

I'm doing the same thing right now, cleaning my wish list on Switch 😂 👍
Are those what Atelier games are about? That makes me want to buy them.

So basically a good idea but not a great game. Hope they make a second one with improvements.
This game look similar Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale
One of my fav games of all time. Hope this is similar if so will buy asap
thanks for the exhaustive review. I've never seen one that covers battery life. =)

Interesting... Thank you : )
Question: How long is the play time in total? Im debating but Im likely not going to enjoy it if its shorter

So I’m debating on this game, but I just wanna ask- would there be any reason to come back after the main story?
Not outside of the side quests and just continuing to level your characters.
Wait for it to go on sale. Its $25 right now. Defenitely end up with buyers remorse.
Great video!

Interesting game I might get it even if its the first game form Kemco I will play. But 28 bucks not a 100% sure.
A clean/wholesome version of many an RPG Maker hentai game where the indebted girl can also earn money through....other activities.
how long does this game take to beat?
About 20-25 hours, give or take. Depending on how efficiently you go through each chapter.
Kemco games usually suck ass but this one is relatively decent.
Kemco games Stories focus is too similar! Always about good or bad Deity's.
Adventure bar story is gonna sue somebody haha 😂 this is the same game different story
This has a weird fire emblem feel. They kinda copied the interface at some points
The game kept stalling...
"Atellieh"
bro
Toriko anime? XD
