    I would add “self control”. Too many temptations in Pattaya (girls, drinking, drugs, eating) and most guys probably have never truly been tested under these type conditions before so they honestly don’t know how they will react. I’d like to say most guys could catch themselves before things get bad but you never know (especially if you are there alone and have no one to snap you out of it). It’s kind of like gambling, the first time you go to Vegas, you don’t really know if you can pull yourself away from the betting table before you blow it all.

      That's a valid point and I did actually think about self-control. I may pin your post to the front of the comments. Thanks for bringing up this.

    I live in Sin City, so the stigma of Pattaya does not concern me a bit. The average temperature for June, July, August, and September in Vegas is 112 degrees. It is dry compared to humid. Noise and traffic would definitely be a problem for me. I wouldn't buy a car, so I would have to live in a quiet area but also walking distance to small restaurants and street food. For extracurricular activities, I guess I would take a tuk-tuk or Grab.
    For me, Saipan is almost perfect. I would buy a car or cheap lease. Great roads, almost no traffic, easy access to private beach (nicer than Hawaii). They even have a small Chinatown. Only 50,000 people, 40% white. Speak English, use dollar and is a US protectorate with available Medicare. Two big hospitals and pharmacies. Two big supermarkets. Food prices similar to Vegas. US military base in the back of island. 4 &1/2-hour flight to Japan ($300.00)
    The downside is a limited number of younger available women.

A friend from the USA said they can't stop certain groups of foreigners from entering their club. The American said that's discrimination and that club can be sued. Intriguing thoughts, thank you I'm going to do a video on Indian visitors in Pattaya someday. I have a good friend and meet others often from India. India is actually on my bucket-list to visit. Anyway, I have to figure out the best way to approach the topics. Overall, I think many times they get a bad rap from westerners. I don't necessarily agree with many of their actions but I feel like I get it more now. I personally don't like walking in the road especially when there's a side-walk.
      Now the traditional sense of throwing money or money on the floor maybe be a little different in a nightclub/go-go.

    All men who come to Pattaya (by the way, you should learn and pronounce the name correctly) come to get what they can't get at home. As you know, Pattaya is located in Thailand but is not recognized among Thais as anything other than a 'Farang city/place', not as part of the real Thailand. If you want to settle in the real land of smiles, Pattaya is of course not the place.

    • @MargaritasinParadise
      @MargaritasinParadise  28 дней назад +3

      I asked the wait staff this morning at breakfast about the way I pronounce Pattaya and they said it was good. One Thai guy told me that half the Thai people say it wrong but everyone knows what your they’re talking about. I could only imagine changing everyone in Thailand to pronounce the word "Krap" from "cup".
      As far as Pattaya is concerned, there's no doubt it completely different from the rural or less touristy areas of Thailand. Most people couldn't survive in general in areas that most people can not understand them. You don't have to travel far to see this point, although most westerners have no value in exploring the unknown.
      People come to Pattaya for exactly what it is. A matter of fact they fall in love with Pattaya and that's why there are so many people living here.
      Anyway I hope you have a great day. Life is too good to worry about the small things.

    Brother, Great Video. Please interject more of your opinions because they are very valid from an expert like you that lives there. I appreciate you. Thank you for your time and effort to make the videos. On your way to 100,000 subs!
    My beliefs: (and I agree with you on everything) American Whomen that go to Medellin and pattaya are crazy and looking for problems and outrage or clicks on their social media. lol I like it hot like it is in Miami - same. I've been to 57 countries and many losers don't understand that it is not their country. Just shut up. If you don't like it, then leave. Anyone that says too many temptations lack self control in general. I support drinking and spending money, it helps the bar owners and girls. Young women and older men - throughout history, it is a normal thing. Finally, maybe I will only go during low season. Honestly, I am NOT racist but I have a problem with, cheap men from India wanting to have 5 men with one girl. The Chinese are very rude. I seen them throw tip money at the thai girls like they are so low. Russians - why should there be russian signs all over, it is thailand, learn Thai. Period.
