Ummm… it’s a hex polypropylene core like most other paddles but with a thin foam boarder around the “spring board” area of the poly core.
The website literally says “REACTIVE HONEYCOMB CORE
Specially tuned for the high-level player to maximize the consistency of the bounce and feel necessary for every shot.”
The Ronbus Ripple and the CRBN are the only “foam core” paddles coming in the near future. The Ripple is the only currently approved “foam core”.
Not great or accurate info on the technology here, eh?

Would love to see a review of the Body Helix X4 Kevlar paddle.
Surprisingly little mention of it so far.
Kudos on continuous top level, articulate, and well thought out content. 👏👊

I here they are VERY prone to breakage. I'm not going to spend that kind of $ if the paddle is going to crush and become wild to play with

I'd be leary of the core flexing over time will change how it plays.

These do come slightly core crushed out of the box, same as the original Gen 3’s right? I could hear some crackle from the one I demo’d after one session

This review made it sound like you think this paddle is a foam core all the way through. It’s just a ring of foam around the edge. The sweet spot or any area where you’ll actually be hitting the ball is still a traditional polypropylene core.

On the foam topic, review the NEXUS PROSTAR. You did not mention the "propulsion" feature of the core. The "flex" that the core does creates power as well as the foam.

I have a question…I’ve been playing seriously for about 6 months. A very athletic 65 year old. I was recently rated a 4.0. I’ve played with Selkirk Luxx elongated, Perseus, Mod TA 15, Scorpeus 14mm, Mach 2 Forza. Play best with the Mach 2. I want a little more power and pop. My strong suite is drives and drops. Any recommendations. I like lighter paddles.

Spartus Apollo. Widebody shape like your M2F but with more pop/power.

Neither of those paddle are tournament-legal...and for good reason. The Hush is getting 2800RPM spin and the most power and pop of any paddle currently.
