I installed on on a 4xe, I could not see the hybrid info screens but everything else worked, at the time idata maestro did not show support for 4xe but is adding it in the future to display the hybrid radio pages
Watching this just made me want to sell my JL.. my stock alpine is a pile of shit and i wanted to throw in a pioneer, but knowing i have to deal with a data bus, screw that.. id rather sell this junk than deal with all this..
@@volunteeraudio mine has been a nightmare.. between replacing the transmission at 30k miles to a series of new clutches, the water pump from hell and a failed oil pump, the electronic gremlins.. it’s been worse to own than i could have ever expected.. i never expected a Toyota but.. i mean this thing is trash
Is there an Alpine product like the 2 you are showcasing here made for the 2018 Jeep Cherokee?
They do not make a restyle for Cherokee
Did they fix the compatibility on integrated front camera?
Not yet, retains rear camera only
for the gps and mic, do you have to do all that if you already have a mic and gps? a little confused.
Yes you do, these are purpose built for the alpine radio

Do you need the Alpine KCX-F200INT if you have the 8.4 premium system?
The restyle comes with everything needed for factory amplifier or non amplifier systems
We don’t use that adapter because it lowers input to the factory amp, not using it actually makes the stock amp sound better
@@volunteeraudio thanks. I was thinking about getting this radio and didn’t know if I needed the adapter or not. I am just changing the radio for now.
OK this radio difficult to install😮 not for me. It not plug and play
It’s plug n play, just takes a while to run wiring in a Jeep jl
