      The same to you mate!!! Question is it good for long distance? And I think that for winter time when bites are very gentle isn't better to use an in line free running set up?

      I use the same rig for long distance mate and I know lots of anglers prefer this type of rig during winter but I use a free running rig on rivers as well :)

    With huge respect to you, the line going up away from the knot is weaker. You should always use the knot length coming down from the reel for the hook link. The late John Wilson wrote many times about the Paternoster rigs, but always used the line coming down, not the line going back up. Enjoy all your videos, brilliant stuff.

    Hi Jamie, how do you minimize hook spins with a loop to loop connection? If you have to go far out do you wind back slowly or do you do something else? bigger diameter in hooklenghts? great video mate Btw

      +jimmy staelens Thanks Jimmy. I don't get problem with spin ups unless I'm fishing baits like double caster or worms, when we fish like that tend to put a swivel between the two loops mate

    Hi ,
    I've just ordered some of the 0.08mm sinking matrix braid. If I fish it with a shock leader will I be able to cast 60g feeders on it or is it too light?

    hi mate.. no disrespect to you...
    but what happens if you crack off or feeder gets snaggs... The fish is tetherd to lead/feeder... Not a Safe rig in my eyes...

    • @CatchFishingChannel
      @CatchFishingChannel  7 лет назад +1

      That is true mate and on a lot of the fisheries we fish here in the UK these rigs are banned. On most 'natural' venues they are allowed though
