Hi Jamie. Great video! I like using the paternoster rig for bream and tench here in Ireland, but this is by far the most simple and durable paternoster l have seen. Can't wait to give it a go, thanks.
Hello Jamie, yeah a patenoster rig has in its own rights it's benefits but I can't say I have a massive use of it due to fishery rules at the venues im currently fishing. Good informative video for those who are looking to learn. 👍
In my experience, when the fish pulls counter to the direction in which the hooklenght exists the knot, the line breaks much easier. The hooklenght line exist the knot towards the tip of the rod,but the fish pulls towards the lead.
Great video Jamie from a top angler who is always willing to give top tips tight lines Jamie

Thanks Neil and yes I'm the same mate. There are loads of venues which don't allow it but I like it a lot of the natural venues I fish. Jamie

Hi, great vid. Roughly what length hooklength would you then attach to that hooklength swivel?
Anything over 12" would be ideal!
Would this rig work on rivers for chub etc?. Thanks
Yes, definitely.
