- Are there Panthers in the desert? Mountain Lions, Cougars .. This time we are out with the male dogs .. heading out into the vast Chihuahuan desert to look for a Panther .. riding my mules with lion hounds on the ground we are in search of this elusive cat of the desert .. just want to see him.

I do wonder who and when they built that rock shelter ..was it indians..? We did trail the lion a long ways and all the hounds got real tired .. it was a good day !
Not sure where you are at, in southern AZ, those rock shelters are built by drug spotters, working their loads through the mountains.

It's fun when you're not exactly sure if you are right,,BUT ,, your instincts give you a positive enthusiasm and propels you on with exciting anticipation!! Such an overwhelming "feel good" that obliterates any disappointment,., Carry on, Brother .....you'll never find that at the mall!

I watch all your videos till the end, just love the sights and hearing the hounds. That shelter was a neat place, and respect to you for leaving it the way you found it. LEAVE BRETTS CAMRAS ALONE. Ant got no use for a someone who steals, I can just imagine being there in those beautiful places you hunt. Hopefully the hounds will see a lion before long to help them out. Good hunting and hot tracks to BORN 100 YEARS TO LATE. Also thank you for the pictures I love to see hunting and outdoor pictures like those. Stay safe and in good health sir. 👍🇺🇸

We used whistles on our bird dogs to keep them in closer but this is first year I ever tried it with the hounds
I think they might hear a while farther.

I use a whistle now this year so far it seems to work if they are tired.
Yes sir had a few of them ol dogs pis on anything around, I have been trapping for a many of years cats are pretty hard .
Wow loved the first damera Brett you caught two cats a Pole Cat and a Ringtail cat then the screen went jlank but the music continues to play what happened to the feed

I think they were a lot tougher then we are lol ... and they always had good mouths on their hounds ... I you ever listen to those old timers they talk about how far they could hear old blue .. "You could hear old blue 4 canyons away" Thanks!

They can and do pull their tail out when they need too ..

@@BrettVaughnB100 yes I was pretty jacked about that echo stress test myself. I'm a ivermectin user had covid bad in 2020, had long covid cured it with ivermectin. Anything u want to know about ivm I've done my research fairly deeply.

I guess your wife dont understand the 7 day grace period when hunting? Talking about male dogs peeing on everything, I own a fair /carnival food business, I can only have female dogs because of this, cant have dogs peeing on the kettlecorn popper during load up. Or deep fryers. Health dept would not like that at all.
I bet that would affect the taste a bit lol .... guess I will talk to my wife about that grace period ... if she don't understand I will refer to your comment lol Thanks Chuck!
