P3rd ruined this for me, it just feels like im playing the same game. If i were to make something out of this should i just focus on things that are not in p3rd? (Underwater stuff) or just show everything?

@@yunstkeeI don't like when people put Frontier on the same level of "mainline-proximity" as other stuff like Explore and Online.
The base version of Frontier was literally just a PC port of MH Dos with 3 new monsters and the singleplayer cut out. It had dundorma as the hub and everything.

Ahh MH3U, i played so much of tri on the wii when it first released. I loved the underwater combat, we had to step into their territory instead of always being on land. Lagiacrus is an amazing fight!

Ah my entry into the series I got it on the 3ds so I had no choice but to solo all the hub quest. I was never able to kill g rank alatreon and g rank jhen and ive never gone back to try again lol.

Totally not me who has their favorite game as 3u-
Underwater combat feels like I'm fighting the camera more than the actual monster. Its just not very well implemented imo. It's also hard to gauge the distance between u & the monster.
However, I am ready for the devs to try again on a more modern platform & if they do, I hope its called Monster Hunter Dive.
I do agree but when i found out that this game have a target camera its not that bad

I think you liked it because they improved this mechanic in the Ultimate version. Now playing in the original version (MHtrii) is quite complicated
Yeah i thought so, even if its improved there's some peeps out there who says "underwater bad" even on 3u
Personally, I don't think it was that bad in Tri either. It could be quite fun once you got the hang of it.

@@HazIsLazyFrontier can run on almost anything btw, you don't need an expensive PC. I use a laptop that doesn't even handle Roblox lol, and it runs very smooth

You hunted underwater, you are officially a man. haha, jokes aside, you should try using the lance for underwater combat, it's the best weapon underwater because its moveset doesn't change and having a shield doesn't depend of the movement.

Yeah i didn't know 3rd gen was supposed to be focused on Underwater which made it unique, p3rd sorta turns it into a normal MH and only adding a few monsters and a map that's it (not even a g rank)
