I have short natural hair which I wear that way because of menopause and hormonal issues that left it thinner, so I couldn't wear my TWA.

The Black salon and hair industry only recently started to cater to Black all-natural hair styles. The styles and styling techniques are finally increasing, significantly so, in nature and innovation so that that there are more options other than cornrows and dreadlocks and more natural hair braided style options, too. Women absolutely needed more professional-looking natural hair options because for so many decades, natural hair has been very casual and not suitable for working professionals.

It’s funny how white women will spend hours trying to be able to have those types of curls and here black women are spending hours having weaves sewn in to have straight or wavy hair…but as they say you always want what you don’t have…I have the big curls and spend money getting it permanently straightened so I can’t completely complain either…for me through is that my hair just tangles and knots but by having it straightened I have less of that problem but then I lose the curls so had to chose one or the other…
