Never understood why explo was removed on these anyway. Literally no one was dominating the game because of their explosive harpoon. And explosive harpoon weapons literally actually exist in real life.
The devs couldn’t be bothered to figure out the bugged the damage formula on an explosive harpoon, that’s why
I owned a QE Harpoon on playstation, was able to one hit other players as i could byepass the damage cap by far.
I appreciate the fisherman's outfit in honor of the harpoon gun.

Tried them. They weren't great.
It will be very interesting to see what former legacies will be good once everything is finalized in the PTS
I loved my quad explosive harpoon back in the day.
I used to run an aae harpoon and an ie harpoon gun on my main. Base damage was 1188 per shot could one shot any thing in the game up to a sheepsquach that took 2 shots some times 3… this gun was a hidden secret most players dismissed back in the day
I remember when the harpoons could block doorways , I used to try be the first one at the uranium fever event and block off the first doorway so I could solo the event lol
the harpoon gun and many other more niche weapons like it in the game have effectively been abandoned it feels like, no new weapon mods have been distributed for most of the weapons we got at launch and i'd personally like to see a gun like this get the same treatment as the crossbow/bow where it has elemental/poison and an official explosive damage mod, maybe a mod to increase the capacity at the cost of reload speed just so you can have other legendary effects than quad and still have more than one shot.
The elephant in the room is the flamers with explosive, the one for everything weapon.
Explosive no longer works for flamers.

I like it. I've got a Q2525 that collects dust on the mule because despite sounding fun it's pretty useless, maybe I'll add explosive to it at some point. Then it can be useless and explosive. :)
I have a quad faster fire rate faster crit and it's pretty fun. Obviously I'm not using it against bosses or even a sheepsquatch, but try it at an event like one violent night. It'll be fun and work well
Demo expert maxed should raise the damage for 20% to 32%. And u can see the damage difference on the gun when u equip and unequip the card
“Food buffs are broken”, now that’s some information that does not surprise me. Every time they “update” this game they break something else.

I loved my QE25 harpoon before they removed it... sadly it wasnt fun anymore without the explosive effect xD the flechette mod is kinda much needed though.. i didnt think it was very useful with normal harpoon shots

*sigh* My explosive vampire's harpoon gun was my main gun right up until they removed explosive on it... RIP. Interesting that it's back... will this break the game balance again, or what did they change? We'll have to see...

The harpoon never broke the game. I never even saw one except someone was displaying for trade. It was gatling plasma and splittered laser guns

Hmm I seem to remember the legacy version doing more damage. Even though there shouldn't be much of a difference "on paper" I guess.

Thorn armor crafting isn't working properly in the PTS yet, so it's hard to say.
But what about the flechette shot? That's the most important part 😢

Can you test more seldom used weapons with explosive effect?like gamma gun,bordersider,thirst zapper,any changes on twoshot with shotgun,gatling laser or flamer?thanks

Already did a video on the quad crossbow. Wasn't plasma though.
I have a Q9015RL ready to go. Will reroll the 90RW for explosive and call it a day. I miss my old QE legacy
How do you have reduced weight and reload on the same weapon??.

Yes frankly idk why he put barbed instead of flechette 💀 it makes you shot x7 projectiles.
Could you check if the Cursed Harpoon gun can have its legendary effects swapped?

Afaik, none of the named legendaries can have their effects changed, this includes face breaker, sole survivor, scythe, v63 stuff and so on

Probably. Things seem to work smoothly, but shots in and out of VATS frequently deal damage to the wrong target. It can be fun, like when it transfers unresisted damage onto a highly resistant enemy, but it's not so fun when you actually needed to hit the target you were aiming at.
I want a quad, explosive pepper shaker
I had a vamp explosive pepper shaker before the nerf. It was fun and not that OP. Some weapons didn't need to get removed
